  • can u do better Oinkoink299. I don't see yr album out. When u do get it posted let's hear it goofball, jackass!!!

  • what a fagot song .But i would l;ike too stuff my meat stick up this whores ass

  • What so funny is i know Suzanne now, one of the most wonderful lady's ever!

  • I saw them @ the old 9:30 club in D.C. in the early 90's. They warmed up for someone...don't remember who..We came to see them. We even got a chance to meet them and check out their tour bus. Totally down to Earth & friendly.

  • Making this video with Suzanne, Michelle and their band was a privilege. Their grace and clarity of purpose made the dealings with Polygram background noise and the pleasure of creation the signal. Doug Koch is brilliant on camera as was Garth Fleming on design. Suzzane Tabata co-produced with me while I directed and enjoyed one of the high points of my music video experiences. Terry McBride and Mark Jowett made this possible. But I must admit, making "Baby" was just as fun - how couldn't it be?

  • i have one of there cds, i didn't know what to buy so i just randomly just grabbed any type of cd just something a lil different and picked up a cd of theres and loved it.

  • Man, too bad we didn't get this in the States rather than having Alanis and 4 Non Blondes inflicted upon us....

  • Saw them in the early 90's when they opened for 54/40. They were absolutely excellent live.

  • These Ladies were awesome. It's tough getting a good copy "Won't Matter"

  • @mchechio You can actually buy the whole album on emusic (in digital format).

  • Canadian music was so cool in the 90s. It's too bad Canadian radio and video stations abandoned Canadian artists this decade, focusing on the ultra generic crap like Nickelback and teeny bopper music. Thank goodness for Youtube, where gems like this can find a home.

  • @cjuntrin Well, Nickelback is Canadian. They're also poop.

  • @cjuntrin well that's pity anyone should have the rights to sing what they want, it's just only music, should be up to the singer what type of music they want to sing rather it's yesterdays or todays

  • Thank you for posting. The harmonies are truly amazing on this tune.

  • thanks for posting. i fell in love with them at the horseshoe tavern in TO in the early 90s. anyone know what they're up to now. this song brings back good memories.

  • lol michele gould one of the singers i've known for like 11 years now she was over at our house for a couple days and i just found out that she was in this band. gonna be goin up to her cottage prob with my fam. this summer =D

  • they have good harmony

  • It's been nearly 20 years since I've seen this video and I must say the sound and imagery is as fresh as it was back then! This group created such a unique blend of music - part pop, part folk, part soft-contemporary. The formula is amazing!

  • Hi Lava

Great sound and nice video. Quite a sixties sound and look as well a quite gothic - love it!

Hey, take a look at my song - Goo GooDoll - it's quite different to you but I recorded video by the sea, here in England.

    Appreciate any positive comments

  • I bought this album when I saw them in NYC in 1990 -- LOVED them then and I still think this is one of the best albums of that era. Such smart pop-folk stuff that they don't do enough of nowadays!

  • Hm, I wish I had been old enough to talk when Lava Hay was still around. It's one of my favourite albums at the moment.

  • @MeanEyedCats Over two years later, and this is still my favourite album.

  • Saw Lava Hay in many live shows from record shop appearances to large music halls..still love the music to this day...Hi girls..your music lives on !!

  • Come on guys re-form.....and do a UK tour....via Nottingham.....I'll buy you a pint!!!

  • Unfortunately, I didn't hear about this duo until after they split. But I discovered them after my first Garage Sale at Nettwerk on West 6th in the early nineties. I was able to catch Suzanne Little several times in clubs around Gastown and once at the burned down Glass Slipper many years ago. And I went to many Taste of Joy concerts...even drove out to a Calgary Lilith Fair just to see them! Ah shit I miss the nineties.

  • Thank you so much for posting these videos! A friend of mine who was a college radio DJ turned me on to this album back in 1990 and I immediately fell in love with it. Haven't stopped playing it since and I count them among my favorite all-time bands. I never even knew these videos existed! This song was one of my favorites from the album. Do you have any more? I would love to see videos of Midnight Sun, Weeping Willow and This Pain. Any plans for a reunion? If so please come to Santa Cruz CA!
