It's a shame they won't trigger strobes from further away. 30 metres... that's nowhere near RadioPoppers' or PocketWizards' reach. They do, however, look very attractive!

i havent used it, but i saw a video where Nick Turpin takes some really nice street/flash portraits using microsyncs. so they aren't junk at least.
the video is "portraits of thriller writers for arena magazine"
