yo i just got a dboys scar l today and i went full auto for like a minute i cant remeber now it wont shoot i charged the battery and eveything still nothing but every time i tap the handle i works for about 2 shots y does this happen this gun broke in 3 hours :(...... can anyone help

Wow bordintaho777 I'm 14 on a team and can take apart every gun ever very easy the hardest part is gettin it out of the gun after that piece o cake Seriously and it says the gearbox virtually never breaks u had a bad nozel and personally I would just get a new piston and such while you fix the nozel make your gin better were u live cus find a team in your area and ask them to fix it

hey im thinking of getting the matrix lipo rdy gear box with a matrix magnum motor(long) to put in the dboys scar. Is there any special thing i need to think about when changeing the box?

@MrPalleeo your going to have to remove the mag release loop infront of the contacts on the shell and the ambi fire selector wont work...i think thats it

my echo 1 scar's gearbox is broke the air nozzle is not working. and on evike they said "understand the gearbox will virtually never break" thats not true. and i am like 14 so how am i supposed to fix it and no won will fix it for me:(

the scar uses a modified m4 gearbox. It is the same as the m4 gearbox except that since the scar has an ambidextrous selector switch, and the m4 does not the scar has a unique selector plate.

Does the SCAR model use an M4/M16 style gearbox? I'm sure it does, but I want to be 100 percent certain.

Can you tell me, when I purchase this SCAR brand new, do I have to lube anything or is this rifle good to go? These cost quite a bit, and I want to maintain a good shape of it. Any suggestions or comments? I dont want to do upgrades, etc, just need to know if I need to lube anything, and how many times a month/year I should lube or disassemble and check all the gears etc. Thanks, this is a good vid, 5 stars.
