I've got the PS2, the Xbox and the PC version (PC version bought, PS2 and Xbox given by my cousins). This is my considerations: PC version wins (obliovusly), Xbox follow it, nice grapich, nearly close to the PC one, PS2 it's so distant! There is no detail, the water it's just a green-blue surface and when flying and you look down, trees looks kinda strangly. My favourite is: the PS2 version! XD
I'm comparing the last-gen versions because I'm bored, and after looking at the XBox version, I am shocked at how horrible the PS2 version's graphics are. The XBox looks almost as good as the 360's, I could barely tell them apart.
I'm playing this game on the 360, and honestly, I feel the graphics are all that it has going for it. That, and the paragliding thing. Otherwise, a pretty medicore sandbox game with a lot of bugs and bad design.
The games mapping looks awesome and so do your options, coulda dont a little better on the graphics but PS2 it the Last-gen console so you shouldn't exspect much.
I'm actually shocked at how bad the graphics are, for a developer that made the stunning Tomb Raider Anniversary. Mercaneries was an open world game on the PS2, and it looked great, so there's no excuse!
This game I almost always finished on PS2, Gta Sa is still far ahead, but the creators in my opinion certainly did not want to copy GTA ... In fact, not using a criminal here ... And then travel here for a large archipelago 6 times San Andreas ...

The frame rate tends to drop on ports of 360 games, which is only natural. Also, the unreal engine was built around xbox 360 hardware, and considering most new games run on this, ps3 is bound to have problems with it. Roll on MGS4 i say!

I hav this 4 the ps2 and thought it was really good. Then i got a 360 and thought it was amazing! The difference really shows. The 360 graphics are so good that during some missions you just wanna pull over and admire the views and scenery.

If you have an Xbox, a gaming PC, or a 360 instead, get it for those. But if you only have a PS2, then get it for PS2. I have it for PC. But it's not that risky opening the parachute that low. All you need to do is pay attention to the ground immeadeatly. Once you press the open button, the parachute will open almost immeadeatly maybe losing 10 feet maximum. A safe altitude may be 50 feet from the ground. But you can go as high as up to 5 miles above the couds alone in the game.

I have this game on ps2 but the graphic is not good and effects the game so much since it is a tropical island. Now i tried a demo on the pc version on my computer and i must say that it was huge diffrence the shooting was easy and it was much easier to see and the sea was loveable.. i am gonna get this absolutly for pc i liked it more :D

I hav this 4 the ps2 and thought it was really good. Then i got a 360 and thought it was amazing! The difference really shows. The 360 graphics are so good that during some missions you just wanna pull over and admire the views and scenery.

i remember playing this on PS2 lawl graphics were shit and tons of bugs but JC 2 out later this month looks sweet for both PS3 and 360 xD BRING IT ON!!! Mercs 2 is delayed till August so i'm getting JC2 instead ^^

If you have an Xbox, a gaming PC, or a 360 instead, get it for those. But if you only have a PS2, then get it for PS2. I have it for PC. But it's not that risky opening the parachute that low. All you need to do is pay attention to the ground immeadeatly. Once you press the open button, the parachute will open almost immeadeatly maybe losing 10 feet maximum. A safe altitude may be 50 feet from the ground. But you can go as high as up to 5 miles above the couds alone in the game.

I have this game on ps2 but the graphic is not good and effects the game so much since it is a tropical island. Now i tried a demo on the pc version on my computer and i must say that it was huge diffrence the shooting was easy and it was much easier to see and the sea was loveable.. i am gonna get this absolutly for pc i liked it more :D
