This group was a Hip Hop old school gem. Freeez came out with I.O.U and Pop Goes My Love. Old School Breakdancing classics back in the 80's. It was nice back then when you could consider non rap songs Hip Hop.

Yooooooooooooooo....92KTU back in 1982 rocked my ears off...Looking at this video and listen to this song brings back flashbacks of my breakdancing days When I first read your comment and you mentioned 92KTU in New York City I had to say something Freez AEIOU I Wanna Be Real got so much airplay in that station that it became a hit for hip-popers,back in the day!
