Now if only the audio was not overdriven. Found another copy of this video that only had the right channel working. Anyone out there who likes this video know how to work videos??
this aint house music ! this was part of the hip hop culture, break dancing and pop lockin.. john rocca is british..the british didn't even know what house music was in the 80s
thanks for posting. I am looking for the b-sside of pop goes my love. Its called POP GOES MY DUB the instrumental. if any1 can find that, this true hip hop head would definitely appreciate it.
This group was a Hip Hop old school gem. Freeez came out with I.O.U and Pop Goes My Love. Old School Breakdancing classics back in the 80's. It was nice back then when you could consider non rap songs Hip Hop.
This song used to play in the Friday Night Mixes on WBMX in Chicago when I was in junior high. I never knew there was a video! Somebody call "Mr. Peabody" and have him warm up the Wayback Machine! I'm on my way!
Oh snap!!!! This is the gem! Holy smokes. Tronich, you have found the best song of the 80s (IMO) Songs like this defined the 80s...techno and made people take notice of groups like Kraftwrek, Depeche...all the other great techno groups of that era. Thanks a million.
Yooooooooooooooo....92KTU back in 1982 rocked my ears off...Looking at this video and listen to this song brings back flashbacks of my breakdancing days When I first read your comment and you mentioned 92KTU in New York City I had to say something Freez AEIOU I Wanna Be Real got so much airplay in that station that it became a hit for hip-popers,back in the day!
