That part. NBC is just ONE company, the Writer Strike effected every writers who belonged the the Writers' Guild. Hence why EVERY SHOWS ON TV could not produce any new episode. No writers, no episodes. I'm sure no one wants to "lose ratings" purposefully.

Sometimes I'm surprised by the stupidity the internet pulls out. Volumes are not split by Seasons. Originally, Season 2 was to encompass three volumes. Those being; "Generations", "Exodus", and then "Villains". Season 2 was cut short by the sudden Writer's Strike, which, if you had even the slightest brain cell, you could respect. But, back to the season, the few Episodes you saw, that was Season 2. THAT'S IT. Season 3 beings on September 15 with a special three hour premiere on NBC.

Theres only 11 episodes because of the writers strike. Then Tim Kring just decided to end the season with those 11 episodes. That's why there is a SEASON 3 coming out in the fall.

can't wait. although i haven't seen volume 2 yet. spended the last saturday on watching season 1 (imported from USA (couldn't wait and the german dub sucks)). Sylar is great. And a whole volume that features him and the evil "heroes" like him. that's cool. I pretty much identify with the bad guys.

Word of advice, don't bother too much with the first half of volume 2, it was poorly done and a low point of the series. The second half of the volume was much better.

Also, if you identify with the bad guys, do you want to see Sylar kill Micah and rip out his brain. I personally can't stand that little bitch.
