Very few women get hired at the company I work for. Most have left because of the excessively hostile environment that Jenna and her supporters speak about. This panel has the power to put a stop to the blatant refusal to accept capable, smart women into the trades based on our skill level, not on our willingness to provide sexual favors.

It was amazing to see just how many people made the trip to southern Oregon to support Jenna knowing full well that her case had been removed from the agenda. Thanks to all who participated by their attendence. Bob Ferguson: " Every apprentice puts up with crap!" That is no excuse for the deplorable behaviors that Jenna Smith has been subjected to for the duration of her apprenticeship! The examples of harassment given by Jenna at the first hearing were just the tip of the iceburg.

Thank you also to the brave women who left their own work and stepped forward to speak into the microphone. I know that what you did was frightening - also it was the right thing to do. You all and Jenna have opened the door to let the truth shine through. To the committee: double check the importance of this decision - you have the opportunity to change the future.
