good for you, if you can jump bigger than that, but it doesn't really matter how high you jump, ot if you don't jump at all! People like that just sound like they take advantage of their pony. Great riding btw! x
hey nice video the jumping was really nice, and that run out with the arab was unlucky as you said the rider wasnt very confident and the horse picked up on this and took advantage of it, with more practice she will become much more strong making him go over it!
just a question, do you know about trot diagonals? the first jump you were on the wrong one which can unbalance the horse, and make the muscles build up unevenly.
also you could try to bend your horse more in the right direction a bi
Thankss. Generally, we don't usually jump Arab that high - any of us, because the consequences can usually be painful.
Yeahh, we know about diagonals, but I forget about them in this video because it was freezing and it had just rained so I was soaking and cold and I was warned Toby would run out, so I was concentrating on keeping him in line, rather than when to rise xD.
As for the bending, I think Toby was just bending his head tha way for some reason.
fair enough, I am not being nasty but you need to concentrate on the whole riding and not just one part of it, because if you were doing a course that would all fall apart.

oh right fair enough, but you could try to use more inside rein and inside leg to keep him bending the right way :)
wigsrcool 3 years ago
Ohh well. I think he just wanted to bend his head that way anyway xD
mysecretskill 3 years ago
yeah but if you are the rider you decide what happens
wigsrcool 3 years ago
Well he jumped well, and that's all I wanted out of him :)

It would if I were doing a course, but I wasn't, lol.
mysecretskill 3 years ago
yeah this is true lol. but you should be riding properly and your best all the time, not just when it is 'required'
wigsrcool 3 years ago
I should yes, but I don't always.
