The best thing we ever found to get rid of ringworm is red fingernail polish. I don't know why it works but it does. When my nephew was little, both legs were covered. His mom sent meds from the doctor. It was working but sooo slowly. We used the red fingernail polish on the ones near his ankles. Within 2 days, those were almost all gone but the ones that had the cream from the doc were still big.

@rramirez0227 yea do the dawn soap then rub medicated powder on it you can get medicated powder at the dollar store it'll go away in a couple days. I had a good sized ringworm fungus on my arm and this worked great

Best way to get rid of it is to get some dish soap preferably dawn and wash the infected area a couple times throughout the day and pat dry. Then put a light layer of dish soap over it and rub it in like lotion and don't wash off. Works like a charm.

best ointment for skin rash is found in mexico called Topsin. Cost about 4 dollars but it works within days it is wonderful, will cure any type of skin rash.

I have this stuff on my hand too... tinea corporis is the name of the fungus , I don't know what to say I took lamisil for maybe a week or so without any effect , now I have this stuff on both arms . @MoonPhase94 I went to two doctors .. now I take Ketoconazole 200mg , one pill per day ..but no signs that my condition is improving . I am pretty stressed out right now , both arms are affected I have a couple of smaller dots on my chest and legs . I am starting to believe my doctors are no good . I read online that you can take sunbaths and swim in the sea and the fungus will eventually die . I wonder if that will work . Thanks for your reply .

You're 100% right - people shouldn't be scaring each other by spreading misinformation like that. The bulls eye rash associated with Lyme's disease is more of a smooth red rash. While ring worm can also have that characteristic bulls eye appearance it is more of a raised scaly rash as is seen in this video.

I had some of that on my neck, a small amount. It doesn't itch or anything, I couldn't feel it, it was some other person that pointed out to me "What is wrong with your neck?" Got some ointment from the doctor and it was gone in about a week.

if u ever get ring worm i have a remedy. Cut lime in half and place it on top of a fire. rub the lime on the ringowrm nd squeeze the juice on it but make sure the bumps are popped before u do it. u can do this twice a day

nd wrap up the ringworm with something because it can easily spread

Thats ringworm. I caught mine in time, before i spread it to my kids or anyone one else. Lamisil and Beer! put lamisil on and drink heavily to ease the itch! I caught it from the cattle at my work

i just got that on my hand and it feels like its burning...so i do feel pain. Lamisil might work but what it will stop from spreading out is Iodine Tincure(its over the counter)apply every day..warning...if u scratched it too much its gonna hurt a lot if you put the tincture ,,,but its worth anything just to make it dissapear

Ringworm is a fungal infection - think Athlete's Foot. It's very itchy, so it's unusual to have a ringworm infection and not be be aware of it.

the best thing is to check a dermatologist FIRST, if u cant use a cream called Lamisil or any cream that has TERBINAFINE, but if ur case was severe the doctor would probably prescribe u tablets along with the cream, hope it helps you people, spread this out,

hey don't worry about it to much, I had like 5 in my face, 6 on legs, and like 25 on my belly. 95% of they went away in 5 days. I took itch relief cream 2% u'll find it at rid it from 5 to 12 bucks. stay away from could places, shower with skin care soap, no pets for a while, shower after exercising and you will get well in less than 2 weeks. hopefully it works for you. If not visit your doctor asap

you do need to see a doctor because the cream doesn't always work, you need to take some tablets. I had mine for over a month and whenever it seems to get better ...it doesn't :(

i tried different other treatments and it got worse. Don't stop using Lamisil and see the doc for medication.
