@fortunadodesperado You can't really "beat" this mission.. you win by dying. The achievements though.. oh god, those were awful. Beating this on brutal is even worse. I did the DT wall phoenix snipe for a while, but they start nydusing your base hard and eventually too many overseers show up. Switch it up to mass carriers and pray you hit 2500 kills, I got 3800ish I think.

the best way to last really long in this mission is to make a wall with dark templars so they cant get through then get a lot of air to take out the detectors so they cant kill the templar

@squagglenater Yeppers, and when your dtemps finally start to take damage, pull the injured ones out and make em into archons. The archon always comes in with full hp and shield, regardless of the health of the templar used to make it, and the archons also do splash damage and can attack air.

@Atramentum1 the ranged hydrid detects though, the best way i've leearned to do this and get the 2750 kills achievement is to make a deathball for ALL 3 of the bridges, hold there and reinforce the weakest. Meanwhile put the pheonix on a seperate control group and have them dash around to wherever the air waves are, use the voids to support other most dire bridge, ALWAYS be upgrading, and use extra money on cannons, don't wall off though. Massing air is useless once they ball up too much.

That mission always made me a tad upset that I couldn't launch a hopeless attack on their base, but then it hit me....the Zerg have poor defenses, canonically there must have been endlessly spawning weaker forces to keep the Protoss in their base till hybrids hit, players could with heros surely destroy any base, assuming reasonable skill.

Just FYI for anyone who didn't know and feels like playing this mission, there is a high yield on the far left just beyond the bridge. Get 6 collosus with a little bit of support then you can hold a high yield against them and max out faster.

First off, you used the fricking campaign in which yes, the Zerg are overpowered in due to the storyline to show why Zerg are op... Second, Zerg don't have hybrids which, took out most of your army. Third, your micro and macro sucked against the hydras, the colossus should kill the hydras, not the carriers.
