He was a horse that everyone loved, but he taught me so much about how to ride and how to truly trust a horse. I know how it feels to lose a horse and I think this video describes it way too well. So sorry about Louie. It was clear how wonderful and loving and talented he was.

First 5 weeks were hell; he wouldn't listen, took advantage of me, and within the last 3 weeks we moved him and got lessons where I was learning how to not only ride him but to understand him. On our last lesson we were talking about having the next lesson on the trails next to the barn.
It never happened. He broke his leg and no one knows how ('Freak accident', 'hasn't happened before'). Before that we were having medical issues with him too...

A horse that you can't imagine life without, that no amount of money in the world could buy. A horse that becomes your everything, a part of your very being. And while there may never be another Louie, there will be other horses to share your heart with...and in each of them you will find a piece of him. <3

I'm so sorry!! I wish there was sumthing else I can say. Louie looked like the most wonderful horse in the world and i bet he was! I have a horse of my own and I probably will have to say goodbye to him very soon. I know wats its like to lose ur best friend and have had them only for a short time until u had to say goodbye. Well i know u probably already heard this but umm...at least u was able to have him and make his life golden before he departed into the heavens.

This....is an amazing tribute to an amazing horse. I know what you've been through, I lost my gelding to an advanced infection this past October, and it still hurts to walk past his old stall. Thank you so much for making this video....

I've watched this video dozens of times and I still can't get through it without shedding a tear. Reminds me of the two horses thats taught me everything... they were always there... The video is beautiful. Angels come to us disguised.. it's obvious Louie was one of them.

Just as sad as the last one Ive wached this vid so many times I lost not only the horse i learnt to ride on but my best friend who was there for me when no one else was. RIP Louie may the angles keep you safr forever and ever

Most horses that come into our lives are our bestfriends and partners and we love them dearly, but everyonce in awhile a person finds a soulmate in the spirit of a horse. A horse that you can't imagine life without, that no amount of money in the world could buy. A horse that becomes your everything, a part of your very being. And while there may never be another Louie, there will be other horses to share your heart with...and in each of them you will find a piece of him. <3
