In February, Karen Mills said the ARC loan was going to provide "immediate relief" for "distressed but viable" small businesses. Here in November, a paltry $100million (ess than 2/10th of one percent of the stimulus) has been loaned to small businesses, and almost all of them were already extremely healthy. Virtually no "distressed but viable" small businesses have received any money at all.

We are a photo op - nothing more; patronized to keep us quiet.

20 to 30% of the small businesses in my area have failed & closed in the last year. There is something systemic & insidious that is killing small businesses en mass. International corporate greed is out of control. Their allegiance is to no one but themselves. Small businesses are designed to make a living but large corporations are nothing but greed amplifiers. Corporate Finance & Investment Oligarchs are predatory malignant parasites that prey on the people who actually do the heavy lifting.
