8600gts, what kind of CPU do you have, and how much memory? You will need any kind of dual core if your a dell person. Usually people who upgrade to discount cards have old CPU's, I know I did! Also, Far Cry 2 has a memory leak with DX10, so with 4GB you can only play about 90 minutes at a time before the game will crash. Not sure if 8600GTs can run x10.

Same with Crysis vs Far cry 2, sure crysis is better because it was spent more time on and uses a better engine. But farcry is still great game.

thats true... far cry 2 has some features that crysis doesnt but in another hand crysis graphics are a bit better and there are more textures underwater... far cry 2 could have more animals too... its Africa after all

It's not that bad, you can bus it if you don't want to drive places. Some of the missions are awsome and the graphics are sweet.
