[It is an official document at a Korean Dynasty, written by The Korean King order in the 18th century]

Archery was the only martial art that had been practiced by Korean soldiers. They have no skills of sword or spear fighting.

Because there is not the culture that there was a samurai in the Korean history.

The Korean uses a castle of Japan and the sculpture including the Asura by an image strategy in imitation of the style of the Japanese samurai in HP.

I understand it if I examine it, but, in the Korean Peninsula, culture and the castle of the samurai do not have the trace.

Japanese should stop spreading lies that Koreans are copying Japanese style.

Chinese & Korean styles are focused to fight SEVERAL enemies in surrounding environment.

Japanese style is more focused on ONE on ONE.

Basic strategies of Korean & Japanese are DIFFERENT.

Europeans don't accuse other Europeans of copying their style of fencing, archery, etc.

Chinese DON'T even accuse Koreans of copying their style.

Only Japanese accuse Koreans of copying their style.

hola ..creo que no me entendistemuy bien porque me falto ponerle que es el REPRESENTANTE PARA AMERICA LATINA y los dos se apellidan Kim porque el EL PRESIDENTE JEONG HO KIM (que es el presidente de la federacion)...ESE SI SERIA UN PROBLEMA pero el profesor YANG TAE KIM si habla español y si no estas muy acostumbrado a como habla, pues puede ir con su esposa, y ella habla un perfecto español....de cualquier forma gracias por darte el tiempo para contestar este comentario

Lo triste es que coreanos y japoneses se odien, sin decir con esto que no sepa las terribles invasiones a Corea del siglo XVI y el siglo XX (Cuando Corea era dominio japonés) las artes marciales (incluidas el kendo y el Gumdo), son caminos a la paz, ojala algún dia coreanos y japoneses olviden esos odios históricos y trabajen juntos para hacer un mundo mejor, todos los humanos tienen derecho a ser felices.

Aunque parece que varios grupos han trascendido eso. Aay Asociación japonesa de haidong gumdo y hay grupos de kendokas coreanos... parece que depende de la persona y el grado de afectación por las guerras.

Los samurái eran japoneses. El kumdo y el gumdo son coreanos. Le quedó bien el shim sang al que sale haciéndolo, aunque no baja demasiado en sus taedose o sodose.

No es sable japones es coreano, sus diferencias radican en la forma de la hoja

No es la forma de la hoja la única diferencia entre una katana y un jingum. El proceso de fabricación es totalmente distinto. Una katana nihonto tarda hasta tres meses en ser fabricada y pasa por tres etapas de trabajo minucioso. Un jingum no posee esa característica, tampoco ostentan hamon, y por lo general los adornos son muy vistosos, a diferencia de los de la katana sobre todo el kodungi.
