Hi Andrew, good job on the videos! They are very helpful. Just a little note though ... during 1:14 of the video, you gave an example of the A note of 440 Hz, and then talked about another A that would be half of its frecuency (220 Hz), but there is another A in between the two you talked about on a Bass Cleft line, so that should be the A of 220 Hz.

@RemorfChuket You want to be able to look at a note and know exactly what pitch it is immediately from it's location on the staff. You would never be able to sight-read music (play from sheet music in-time without prior knowledge of the piece) if you had to re-derive the pitches associated with each line and space every time you looked at a new piece of music.

We made up George Bush Did F*** America in my fundamentals class because the acronyms for the lines on Bass and Treble were too similar. Also had to repeatedly explain to people that just because there's a ledger line above or below the staff doesn't mean it represents middle C lol.
