  • Hell Yeah :)

    Awesome.

  • PLAY THAT BASS!!! PLAY IT!!!

  • @RandomReptiBoy RAWR SLAPPPAPIDITTY!

  • great stuff , not sure who's better you or your dad, how about some 70's rock or good ol' bluegrass.

    thanks for posting

  • in this video you need to raise the end pin your bass is to low

  • its all on how you play, i dont like a bass way high up, get a better pull on the strings the way I have set it up. Its not for everyone, but works especially for me. You'd also probably hate my action too, which is 3/4 to 1in. off the fingerboard.

  • Was it really necessary to flip off the camera? that didn't make you look any more bad ass.

  • @fhclaxandfootball and you think putting that comment up makes you more badass? why else would you put it up, lol.... im not gonna start up and start a tit for tat, ill just block ya now, and say not worth it. :P

    l8r gator.

  • Man, you can really jam on that upright bass!

  • AWESOME DUDE!!!!!!!

  • JT - question about the LaBella Sueprnils - what's the break-in period for 'em usually? Been thinking of getting a set for my ol' Kay but nylons have given me trouble before. Neverr tried the laBellas though. I miss the old Golden Spirals but I can't get a mortgage for a set :)

  • Bassplay, the Labella Supernils take around 2-4 days stretching with a couple hours of play a day, (hard playing) to stretch em out as best I can so they wont go flatter then a fried fritter. After that I can use a set of em for anywhere between 7-11 months of active playing (200-300 shows).

They also give good warning of when its time to change them out, they really start losing tone after a while, and it becomes real hard to hear them. Theyre the best strings Ive found for $70 on the market

  • Whats funny is I got a set of Labella Guts, and Nylons in december, and Ive learned that the Labella Nylons are way more durable...I have literally broke the A and E string on the Guts in under 4 weeks... :( so not worth the $.... and u cant take broke strings back. After this Id tell anyone who wants a good slap string Labella Supernil Nylons are supreme from my point of view.

  • when you start slapping i just lost it!

    great job!!!

  • sounds rly good :)

    luv it :)

    add me :)

  • xcan u put the notes ? PLEASE I LOVE THE BASS :D

  • If you know the # scales, it goes

    1-1-1-3-2-7-1

    1-1-1-3-2-7-1

    1-1-1-3-2-7

6-6-6-5-6-5-7 and you can improvise your own scale runs and breaks through it.

  • DUDER!

  • Gut strings??????bass sounds awesome!

  • Not on that one, those are just regular Labella Supernil strings on that one. :)

  • I keep blowing out all my gut strings, so once Labella decicdes to give me a sponsorship, i wont be able to keep affordin em LOL! :)

  • i like the smooth parts alot

  • Mic sounds great, are you using a pre-amp as well? Liked the slapp parts best. Later!

  • no pre-amps, the mic was plugged straight in just to get a level check for the bass, since thats what I'll be recoding with.
