It's a military simulation, I can't disclose what the driving force of why this is shot, lets just say it is a display for the latest simulator products.

The guns are firing blanks, but the bombs are real, and designed to have a huge effect while keeping fairly safe.

Basically real military explosions via a IED or shell attack will use high explosive, the ones in the video use enhanced methods which the film industry uses, soft debris, and dusts. The actual charges are fairly punchy to create a good effect, but are no where near the destructive forces used in military products.

This is a display of high end simulator products, a well trained soldier usually gets far less shock if the simulations are as real as a real war environment.

Yep, I was the sort of kid who used to scrape the red composition from matched to make little rockets, I literally went crazy at cracker night, and somehow fooled enough people later on in life to enter the big realm of bangs.
