acttualy i bought a zune because i could not affored an ipod touch. when do i really need to browse the internet on the go i mean u usally have to be on a wifi hot spot just to bring upthe browser. i also bought a zune because it is more combatable with my xbox360 and i can use the microsoft points on my zune and xbox so i dont have to spend a millon dollars on all the cards. u can riducule me about how good the ipod is but i absolutly love my zune and i does what i wanted
i had a ipod touch and it was shit. the battery died so quickly and after about a month the thing started randomly freeezing when it had the newest update (u have to pay 10$ for unlike zunes free updates) and it was a 2nd gen. i took it back and got a 16gb zune and i have liked the zune since i got it no problems

The iPod isn't an MP3 player. It uses shitty Apple Music formats that make the music sound like shit.
Zune is better cause it has built in FM and wireless syncing. AND if I'm listening to the radio, and hear a song I like, then I can press Add to cart and when I connect it downloads it.
lets talk about newer ipods: the touch for example, can play normal mp3 files and the special formats sound exactly the same if u get a good set of headphones. i admit the apple headphones do suck. now the FM radio and wireless syncing, touch has wireless syncing as well. and there is more than one app for ipod touch that does FM radio and you can do the same thing the Zune can when u hear a song u like

The iPod Nano really isn't that much. It's just cheaper than the better ones such as iPod Touch and the iPhone. They all play music; Zune just handles it a tad bit better in my opinion.. Of course if you're willing to spend the extra x ammount of dollars to get a touch.. Than the iPod Touch does dominate.. Macs will give you more for your dollar but they just require more dollar haha.

And it's notlike I'm a Microsoft fanboy or anything, I've been a fan of Apple in the past and have used a linux comp as my main system in the past.
the ipod classic 80gb (the main competitor to the zune 80) both retail for the same amount. I'm not sure about the smaller ipods and zunes because I like to have big hard drives :) As for the thinness factor, it's only .1 inches thicker than the ipod classic 80. I would be very willing to have a slightly thicker player that has a radio and a bigger screen that doesn't scratch.

The iPod Nano really isn't that much. It's just cheaper than the better ones such as iPod Touch and the iPhone. They all play music; Zune just handles it a tad bit better in my opinion.. Of course if you're willing to spend the extra x ammount of dollars to get a touch.. Than the iPod Touch does dominate.. Macs will give you more for your dollar but they just require more dollar haha.

Now sayin' that is just stupid... The first Zune came out in 2006, there are only 5 different Zunes. Now the first iPod was launched in 2001, when they didn't have the technology to put wifi in it, also there are about 3 million different iPods, or somethin' like that, it's too much to keep track of. The iTouch was launched just 1 year after the first Zune, and by then wifi could be build in. And about that virus, since when is everythin' stated on wikipedia true? Stupid...

Why must everyone display their brand loyalty or preferences through such biased and illegitimate ways. Buy what you want, if you like the Zune, get one, same goes for the ipods. ipod and zune are two similar devices, however when using one of those modern ipods, i got the feeling that apple has now became very cocky and living off their success with the past ipods, therefore modern ipods has now completely lost all that special feeling when using one, how ever a zune was made for a point, and that was to prove ipod wrong, and with that goal in mind a zune surpasses the cocky ipod and takes home the gold

The company is called Apple Inc. They have had iPods on the market for many years, while Zune is very new, and a copy/paste of the iPod. Dont hate, I also think that the wireless netwoeking on Zune is great, but know what? iPod Touch also got that. And Touch got Safari too. + a bigger screen than Zune. So pick a fair match. New zune vs new iPod Touch, not new Zune vs old iPod

I agree it's not a fair comparison, but Microsoft fanboys, if you want to counter-attack by pointing out the price difference, don't bother. Have you seen the sales? iPod sales beat Zune's by a landslide. iPod is already popular, it's going to take more than your thrash-talking for Zunes to beat iPod.

lol, but that's not a very good reason to hate the zune! That's just brand bias! The zune has a lot of cool features that make it a little better than the iPod. And it's notlike I'm a Microsoft fanboy or anything, I've been a fan of Apple in the past and have used a linux comp as my main system in the past.

the ipod classic 80gb (the main competitor to the zune 80) both retail for the same amount. I'm not sure about the smaller ipods and zunes because I like to have big hard drives :) As for the thinness factor, it's only .1 inches thicker than the ipod classic 80. I would be very willing to have a slightly thicker player that has a radio and a bigger screen that doesn't scratch.

Zunes are in bestbuy, search for zune on google, and you should be able to find one to buy quite easily, and the zunes have been in stores since November of 2006
