I loved this song when I was 19, in '85. I still have this record, along with Long live the loud, and feel the knife. Great band that never got the due that they should've.
Fucking epic. Anyone know where I can find a download of this? I tried some torrents but none are working. And I'm not a fan of buying stuff online from Amazon and such.

WOW, BLACK SABBATH COMPLETELY RIPPED OFF one of their songs called SHADOW OF THE CROSS from 1992's KILL AFTER KILL album. Black Sabbath renamed it SHADOW OF THE WIND in 2007 for the Dio Years album. It is essentially the EXACT SAME SONG, with Dio on vocals. The guitar, bass, drums and vocals are IDENTICAL.
I was a big fan of Metal when I was younger. I had all Slayer and Metallica (Only the first three) records. I loved thrash metal Exodus testament forbidden. But now I dont like MEtal anymore. Still I have to say that I always wanted to listen to Exciter but I couldnt find a record from them but thanks to youtube I listen to them for the first time and I am sad that I dont like metal any
thank the metal gods 4 this in the 80's !!got real tired of ozzy, dio, classic rock..7th grade jammin this cassette, venom early slayer,megadeth..gettin stoned..Cry Of The Banshee!!
@nutricide Ya know...I've hardly ever heard anyone comment on the drummer singing. I agree with you...somewhat...I saw em live several times in the 80s & they were odd, strange, weird to watch live. Almost boring, but not quite. "Problem" was...I was so in love with their music (1st 3 albums) that it didn't really matter to a teen back then. Exciter was one of my favorite bands & it was very cool in hidsight to watch the drummer on mike. Unique. Not doomed as they're still playin.

I listen so much to the tracks of HMM !! Every time I hear a song of HMM I want bang and slam like maniac. Good heavens, what a classic album. For me in the top 10 metal albums ever.
No life Till Leather was released before this though, through underground trading. There was a lot of shit going on at the time, what is your point with bringing this up? Are you trying to prove a point about who came out first?

I guess... I just think it is weird that you don't really know anything. Try backing up your argument kid before you play those chick games. "Yep" "Nope" = Kindergarden shit = Poser.
dude i aint no kid i'm 37 fucking years old, been around metal long before most the people that post on you tube were even sperm in their daddys sack, the original post i made was inresponse to a personal fucking message someone sent me that i know originated from a personal message that someone had seen on exciter posts, they GOT it why you have poke your nose in everywhere
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Haha, I knew you had it in you, but I can't understand a word you just said. I guess you must know a lot about metal ha? haha, you're a funny guy! 37 "fucking" years old right? Sorry if I read wrong, but in your hobbies, you consider Slipknot Metal... Right? But honestly man, I can't understand your style in writing, are your fingers too fat to type?
Well. Exciter did record their first demo called "World War III" in 1981. Metallicas first demo called "Hit The Lights" were recorded in march 1982. So yes, Exciter were first!
WRONG.....the cassette I USED TO TRADE throughout the world is still called "no life till leather leather" demo.UNAVAILABLE and still the first five words in the THRASH METAL BIBLE
And Sacred Reich,Testament,Evil Dead,Gothic Slam,Attomica,S.O.D,D.R.I,Vendetta,Vio-Lence,Demoliton Hammer,Slayer,Hell Hammer,Accuse,Incubus(Thrash One Not The Gay One),Slaughter...Ect Hahaha
check it all you youngins....i saw these guys with motorhead and mercyful fate back in early 80's,they sounded exactly like what you hear here live, just 100 times louder ,great show..long live the loud baby!!
And I am sure you sing well enough to say they are horrible. And on top of that, the vocalist is also the drummer, so that just makes them even better.
This band should be known as the best Power Metal band ever lived... This is Real Heavy Metal for Real HeadBangers with passion and sensibility to identify a Real Heavy Metal.
bands these days just lack the real energy that the bands in my day had > sad !
