Well now disco is considered "oldies." I've been hearing Hall & Oates and Tina Turner on 103.3. I wish they'd play that old stuff or make it the hits from the 50's, 60's, 70's, & maybe the 80's.
Think about this. In 1988, the played music from about 1955-1969. That is 19-33 years ago. In 2009, that would mean music from 1974-1990. So yep, it is all relative. The middle aged demographic that listened to oldies in 1988 are now much older and that demographic now (40-50 year olds) grew up in the 70s and 80s.
Not True. Martha Bradlee was a political reporter for WCVB dating back to the late 1970s. She left the station in 1993, and after making it to ABC News years later, married and changed her name to Raddatz.
Any audio for old WEEI 590 seems to be extremely elusive. That newsradio station which sounded so much like WCBS it isn't even funny.

Back when Oldies 103.3 actually played "oldies" They literally play disco now. But I suppose it's all relative; this IS 20 years later
