I think it's great you made tutorials for noobies, but do you actually know making unnecessary movie clips (instead of convert to symbol,"graphic") causes your flash to lag or your animation to stop working properly.

A movie clip is made to have an animation inside of it. If it's just 1 symbol, like your mc_birdbody and mc_birdwings, just make graphics.

Also mc_birdmaster was unneccairy. It already was a movie clip. Now you made a movie clip in a movie clip.

you forgot to remove all the Movieclips when the children's x are >= to de StageWidth. Creating instances without destroy and using the timer event instead of setInterval may be bad my friend! haha good animations maybe some day we can make a game together.

Sometimes when your writing in the action scripts, when you put in a dot or a Semicolon, the quality doesn't show it well and sometimes i don't know if you put it in or not. So can you please put the whole action script in the description so we know if we did it right.

You're probably using CS4. In CS4 the earlier Motion Tween is called Classic Tween. Using the new Motion Tween you should make the Motion Tween first and then manipulate the movie clip on the timeline, which will create the keyframes.

I was confused as to why it wasn't stopping after 45 iterations. It's because you didn't put a stop at the end of the animation. I'm sure most people would have figured that out immediately, but I thought I'd just mention it for other dummies like me that might be watching. Great vid.

I got it, in case you have multiple layers, use addChildAt(mcClip,1); instead.

"1" is just a number, it depends on what layer you wanna add the birds
