  • I'm not able to eat soy sauce, so I was wondering if I can use something else or omit it?

  • @Misa2783 You can leave it out ;)

  • Lemon Chicken's my favourite!!! xD

  • i made it for dinner tonight. it turmed out really well and everybody enjoyed it. thanks for the recipe!!

  • THATS NOT ONE POT!

  • I just made this for dinner tonight. It was so easy and my family went crazy for it. Thank you so much for making everything so easy to follow . I'm so glad I found your channel, I'm hooked ! : - )

  • This recipe really was great. The hubby and I loved it. I'll definitely be making this again! Thanks One Pot Chef!

  • I'm not really understanding the kind of sugar you are saying you use. Is there a section where the recipe is typed?

  • @32000voisine There is an ingredient list in the video description ;)

  • @32000voisine Castor sugar (superfine) is similar to our American sugar you buy in 5 lb bags.

  • Going to be trying this recipe tonight. Looks great, I can't wait =)

  • looks delicious and so simple to make. can't wait to try it out! <3

  • I made this for dinner tonight (NZ time) it was awesome. So glad i found your channel. So easy to follow and even the fussy teens liked it.

  • i wished thatd u eat one by fort to see inside the chicken yuuuuuummmy

  • I love your recipes. You are amazing!

  • With the corn starch/flour, does the sauce remain liquid, or does it become gelatin after sitting and cooling? That's one issue I've had when I follow some recipes "to the letter", is that there's too much corn starch and it basically turns the sauce into "jello" after it's cooled... which is kinda gross.

  • @lupine73 The sauce will thicken as it cools, but simply stir it and then reheat it in the microwave and it will re-liquify ;)

  • YOU DIDN'T EAT ANY!?! :O

  • Can we not deep fry it ?

  • @ZahirahPeanut That's more or less what I did ;)

  • i love this recipe!!!!!!! its so easyyyy and i have made it 4 times since i saw this vid lol.. never ordered it out before so ordered it to see how the chinese made it. both r good ...

  • Hi David, I tried this recipe today. It tasted really good. The only problem I had was the batter came off the chicken strips. Do you know why it does that? Could it because I put too much into my deep fryer at once? Thanks in advance.

  • @Chubeauty That's one possibility, as it's better to cook the strips in batches rather than all at once. Did you pat the chicken off with paper towel before dipping it in the batter? This can help the batter cling to the chicken ;)

  • @OnePotChefShow Next time I will try blotting the excess soy sauce out before dipping it into the batter. Also, my mother-in-law said to dip the chicken strips into the egg first and then roll the strips in the corn starch before deep frying. Do you think that makes a difference?

  • wonderful bro...thks..girls will like it..

  • wow.. really simple to make it!! im waiting for more videos so i can show to my friends that i can cook !! :P :)

  • I like that you did not drown the chicken in sauce.

  • looks finger licking good

  • I am definitely making this for dinner tomorrow night :D It's my older brothers favourite and its his birthday tomorrow so I'm making it for him lol.

  • wow this looks better than the version I get from my local Chinese restaurant.

  • that was so easy! good thing i defrosted boneless chicken for dinner today ;)

  • looks absolutly good, can't wait to try it, thank you!

  • Maybe the lemon sauce needs a couple of chopped shallots.

  • Ooo, Makin a mess. Hehehehehehehe. This looks totally Lemon Chicken Orgasm. I can't wait to try this.

  • The Chinese don't actually eat lemon chicken the just cook it to suite other consumers taste

  • oh, it looks tasty, but there's a bit different from the original type. thank you~

  • ..OH you are an expert....!

  • MMMMMMMMMMMMMM I can see how a lil diced celery / onion in the rice would blast this yummy dish off the map

  • Great video. I luv lemon chicken!! Can you get you shirts shipped to NZ through Zazzle?

  • @TheKiwiCook As far as I know, the shirts can be delivered anywhere ;)

  • Hmmmm, I'll give it a try tomorrow! Looks so tasty........My mouth's watering now. :P

  • good video but i would make it with some special fried rice mmmmm yummo

  • Its 09.23am in the uk and I could deffo eat that now lol yum yum. I will have to pop to the supermarket to buy the ingredience :) thanks for sharing x

  • Thank you!! Can't wait to try this recipe!!!!

  • Is it possible to do the conversions on the recipes. I use your recipes, but measurements here in America are different.

Wondering if I can make this slightly more healthy? It looks divine, but not if you are on Weight Watchers. ;(

  • @debngp If you visit my channel, there's a link for a measurement conversion chart which you can print out and keep in the kitchen. If you want a lighter version, omit the batter and grill the chicken instead ;)

  • @debngp Have you ever heard of Google? Go there and type "What is 30g in ounces?" and it will give you an answer. There's also plenty of converstion websites around with various calculators.

  • Yum yum yum yum!! I love Lemon Chicken!!! Nice and simple for dinner tomorrow! thanks

  • OPCS ~ this looks so amazingly delicious! thank you for taking the time to put a vid together for this simple recipe!

  • another thing: "Thick Lemon Color" how is a color "thick"? xD

  • @SommerV2 We'll call that a brain-fart ;)

  • I HAVE to try this soon, although I don't have a wok. Any alternative suggestions?

  • @MisturrCronin You can just use a medium sized, heavy based saucepan ;)

  • I make something very similar only i use a tangy orangey chilli sauce

    :-)

  • @twish1999 That sounds wonderful ;)

  • OMG! yesterday I asked my husband if he has ever seen a recipe for lemon chicken sauce. Today you post one. Can you hear my thoughts?

  • @piebird042 Nope, I'm hiding under your sink LOL :P

  • i'm chinese and i don't think i've ever seen this dish before o_O

  • @rilaaxe I find it odd that "Chinese" restaurants seems to make food that is never served in China!

  • Looks good Chef!!

  • I love it!! Its so delicious

  • You, my good sir, are evil. I just got on a small diet where fried foods are prohibited, and now you come and present this? Evil, I say, EVIL!!!

  • @CommanderGalos You could omit the batter and grill the chicken instead ;)

  • David if I ever get the chance to come to Australia. I want to come visit you and see if I can persuade you to make me one of your fabulous dishes.

  • when i make it i substitute the lemons with lemon curd, and then add some zest

  • Now that is delicious!! its like the ones in the shops with ball shaped chicken pieces right?!! well they seem roundish in size! hehe

i love the honey lemon chicken also!!

  • OoooOooo! it looks so yummy!

Can you make a video recipe of chicken curry in onepot-style?

    Thanks

    P.S. You're amazing!

  • Is the corn flower the same as corn starch? Just wondering if they call if different down there in Australia.

  • @darkage5 Yes, it's the same thing. We just call it "flour" in Australia ;)

  • @OnePotChefShow Thanks Chef! This recipe is already in my favorites. If i had known it was so easy to make i would have been doing this years ago. If you are ever in hawaii stop by any L&L drive inn, and see if their lemon chicken can stand up to your masterful creation. :)

  • Yummmmm!

  • anyways, in my country that chicken breast thingy it's called Schnitzel XD

  • smokin` hot xD

  • WHERE IS THE END-OF-VIDEO TASTE TEST?! That's like, one of my favourite features in your videos. Makes me so hungry. :-)

  • @Burtholomew I forgot - this was one of the "make it in a hurry before I lose the light" videos. Now that I have my lighting rig, that shouldn't be an issue anymore ;)

  • simple and easy and looks good

  • yep! definitely going to make it tomorrow! but can i use the usual flour instead of corn flour for the batter?? thanks for sharing!

  • @giselathegee I recommend using corn flour for best results, but in a pinch, you can use regular flour ;)

  • Better than a restaurant.

  • Another thumbs up!

  • Looks good, although it's missing the veggies! :D

  • @angel292005 OnePotChef & Veggies???!!! Are you mad!?

  • @angel292005 LOL whenever I order if from the Chinese restaurant, it never comes with veggies. Thought I better stick to the winning formula ;)

  • @angel292005 it says in the description, serve with rice or vegetables

  • @angel292005 It is great served with steamed broccoli , sugar snap beans or chinese beans. I have also served it with roasted zucchini.

  • i like lemon sauce :)

  • That looks fantasticly DELISH

  • another tasty looking number champ

  • Looks delightful. I ll save this to favorites and make it soon!

  • Oh my, OPC what would I do without you! Thank you for another awesome recipe, I was gonna order chinese food for lunch now I can make em at home :D Love ya ;)

  • I never tried that! But it looks so yummy!

  • Me likey very muchy! :D x

  • can u skip the suger or

  • @nizma88 You need the sugar, or the sauce will be sour ;)

  • Would also go wonderfully with with some of your special fried rice too :)

  • you put the fried chicken in the sauce. not put the sauce on the chicken

  • @aeee0 You can do either - many places supply the sauce separately, others make it with everything together ;)

  • On Saturday yesterday, I was going to get a honey stick/log but then when I tasted the cream I threw up over the counter. And the asians well still trying to sell it to me ):

  • Boneless chicken.

    I guess you could say

    *Puts on sunglasses*

    He was a little, boneless.

    YYYYYYEEEEEAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH.

  • does it have to be CORN flour? i would loooove to try this recipe out cuz it seems easy and sooo yummmy. i just don't have any corn flour in hand

  • @i1l2f3h4v5d6 I find corn flour mixes better into the sauce, and makes a nicer, crispier batter. You can use regular flour, but I recommend using corn flour ;)

  • YUM!!!

  • I don't think you really like it, since you didn't taste it, like usual. :P

  • @SommerV2 LOL Conspiracy Theory! Nope, just forgot again!

  • @OnePotChefShow

    hi :)

  • @JoeKun10 Hi :P

  • Ya-ummmmm!!

  • yummy

  • second?
