A summer evening in Nice and I am sitting at a table with Noel and Gertrude, and Isadora and Solidor are dancing close, and Matouche walks in and spots Jean Sablon and they wave at David Niven and Jean Seaberg who are in a corner, and then Damia gets up on stage and sings Notturno in her most emotional schtick. and then that idiot Hulot comes in and stumbles all over the place. An interesting evening.

Get well soon, brother. This is a pleasant tango, well performed. I'm a little jaded or spoiled. My Union's "day room" is a 'Sala' in a

tango palace. I collect dues and listen to Godel

several hours per month. At my side is a Trustee

who's from Chile. I have to explain what I do and he translates lyrics. Hope you are pain free now or at the earliest, and that your recovery goes as smoothly as this tango.
