This app is very good for me since I'm Asian and now living in US. In Asia tipping is not common/customary and if there's a tip, it's usually included in total bill/payment for about 10%.

And I don't really know the significance of this tipping stuffs, except of another way of saying thank you for the service given... lol...

Are you serious? It's a calculator.

Pull out iphone, turn on, slide lock thing, maybe scroll to page two of apps, start app, use fiddly scrolling movement to set numbers instead of pushing or touching buttons.

Time is money but if this app saves you time you are already in trouble.

You of all people should know British Do not Tip. I know I don't. And this is the credit crunch, 59p may be a good price, but honestly - food bills have gone up 20% anyway, a 20% tip, or any tip at all needs to be thought about. Not letting a tacky piece of tech work out idiot tax. I hate this app.

am i the only one that struggles with dividing 267.50 by 4 when your sitting at a noisy restaurant? Why wouldn't anyone want to make their life easier by having tools on your phone? do you use this tip calculator regularly?

i think by the time someone pulled it out their pocket, found the program, waited '4 seconds' for it to load, and filled in the info, everyone else would have worked it out and agreed on it in their head.
