  • I remember that, I was there. It was awefull.

  • @dallinhaskell nice spelling, retard

  • Hard to believe that 3 years have passed already!

  • Those people walking around their cars trapped on the broken span trying to comprehend what just happened is very freaky to watch.

  • I didnt find out about the collapse until after going out 2 eat for my Dad's birthday in Lake George at the Outback Steakhouse. I freaked out because I didn't know if my family members from Minnesota (I'm from MA) where on there and at first we thought an earthuake had struck San Francisco, and 2 our surprise it was Minneapolis and my heart dropped...very dramatic and I had a sleepless night...worried about whether everyone was ok and the good news that everyone in my family was ok *thanks god*

  • I was on a break at my job when I heard the very first report of the collapse on WCCO,seconds after it happened.

  • i went there a week after that for GS and i hate bridges anyway and wen u get caught in a trafic gam and i went on a whole bunch of bridges and it creaped me oout!! i live in SD though

  • I live in Minnesota. My uncle would have been on that bridge if the bridge wasn't closed. :') He saw it happen too!!! :( *CRIES*

  • the bridge wasn't closed.

  • *FARTS*

  • you should ask your mom

  • I love the Fox News alert banner. But, too bad such a tragic accident occured. My heart goes out to the victim's families.

  • @tylermannison faggot

  • I am in Twin Cities, this clip gives me chills to this day. Worst day of my life.

  • Me too.

  • wow feejo, you know so much about the government and politics, you cant even spell iraq

  • Hey where is the army that is their job, what did you say, there is no people to kill that is why they don't go. Ok, oh, Irak is too far for them to come, oh ya big time invasion in Irak.

  • The Army wouldn't come back for a single bridge collapse, let alone another Katrina. They would only come back for Invasion. Its the National Guards duty to respond to natural disasters within the United States, and the Coast Guard. Not active combat personnel who are in combat situations like the Insurgents in Iraq and Afghanistan.

  • EXACTLY!

  • ITS A TRAP!

  • i wonder how it collapse

  • global warming might have caused it???

  • wtf

    No -- poor maintenance.

  • ^^that is the funniest shit i have ever heard in my ENTIRE life

  • Fox news suck !

  • i can't believe it..we are spending too much on our taxes and our government cannot take care of us..

  • F*k u bush..u need to take care of ur country thn waste ur money in war...this is a sign of ur mistake...otherwise god will punish u..

  • Put dots in the empty spaces for the articles I posted

  • Workers are not the cause of the mine deaths. Nor is it "nature." Nor "an act of God." It's the bosses' ravenous drive to increase production and fatten their profits—fueled by competition for markets, inherent in the profit system.

  • The degree of the disaster unfolding in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama after Hurricane Katrina is unnecessary. This is a social catastrophe due to the disregard for human life by state and federal authorities. The impact of Katrina stands in sharp contrast to the result of a similar hurricane in July that hit Cuba—an island nation near the U.S. Gulf Coast, with much less wealth, but with a revolutionary government of workers and farmers.

  • Instead of spending billions of dollars on war overseas we should take care of our nation. That's someting really important

  • so we're spending billions of dollars on war because we don't care abt our nation and it's not important?

  • well actually if you look at the numbers, yes.

more people are dying because lack of spending elsewhere than the estimated amount who would die each year due to terrorism. (3,000 on 9/11, 18,000 / year due to lack of healthcare) Oh and btw, you're invading a country because of WMD that dont exist, dont forget that ;). Bush just changes his story whenever he gets caught, don't buy into it.

  • Great here is the videos for troops "ir2003" and these videos we will not get on Paid channels search for ir2003 in youtube you will see the truth about our Gov. and about CNN.... Check ir2003 now... Thank you.... Peace be with you...

  • There are no ways to make bridges safer. It's something that can happen everytime, with every bridge, no matter how safe they are. There is something with the trills of the wind and the trills of the bridge, that makes it collaps. This isn't a humain problem, but something nature caused.

  • Haha! Yeah right. Just like Katrina was a NATURAL disaster rather than a SOCIAL disaster? Or all the deaths and injuries in the mines in the US...is all "accidents" right?

  • Minnesota officials were warned in 1990 that the bridge was structurally deficient. Federal inspectors had found significant corrosion in the bridge's bearings. A few years later additional inspections found fatigue cracks.......

  • ur right man ......americans are just stupid

  • Americans are not stupid, you idiot. Bow down to America!

  • I see. ^^ I was wrong. Thank you for the information :D

  • Billions for a war based on lies but no money to maintain the safety of bridges. Keep contacting your elected members of congress and tell them you want cheney and bush impeached.

  • what does iraq have to do with bridges collapsing in minneapolis? If it collapsed surely it's not bc of the money being spent in iraq but bc some MORON said that bridge was ok. I want *that* idiot in jail.

  • why spend money in iraq and let our bridges kill our people.

  • IKNOCKED THAT briDGE DOWN WITH FALCON PUNCH

  • "only on Fox is a true catostrophy"

    that is just sad

  • Engineers have estimated $75 billion a year is needed just to keep highways and bridges from further deterioration, but that only around $60 billion a year is being provided. This in US??? Why???

  • because they need money for their war in other country´s that´s more important to them. they don´t care about what is happening in their own country

  • I was on that bridge a year ago. This is terrible~!

  • were u on the collapse??

  • No, but a memberof my family was~

  • No, but a good friend of mine was~

  • fox did nothing. these people are retarded. they just want to curse fox for the hell of it.

  • pray?

  • if you're on the bridge, what would you do?

  • well since i was............ i would say that everyone was screaming and probably praying... i kno i was...

  • Scary,I live within 3 miles of this bridge and traveled on it all the time since I was a kid.

  • you have got to be THE biggest moron there is...

  • sry that was my dumbass cousin

  • no problem, i'm sorry for you. I wouldn't claim the person if i were you.

  • fuckyou

  • yea dummy ok whatever, grow up and please don't respond anymore, gosh people like you are just idiots!!

  • WTF IS UR FUCKING PROBLEM

  • NOT COOL buddy

  • The text says that 35W connects downtown with the UofM. It's does a lot more than that! It's a main, main thoroughfare with a hell of a lot of traffic.

  • :| not good

  • wow that must suck, i feel sorry 4 those people

  • thats really sad

  • this is absolute tragedy, very, very sad.

  • ABSOLUTE HORROR. Fuck you Fox.

  • what did fox do?

  • AMERICA IS SICKENING!!! America has $500 million per day to fight two wars, but it doesn't have the money to repair bridges, tunnels, and highways. It doesn't make sense!!! America will fund anything that creates revenue. However, if there is something that needs repair, but doesn't create revenue... THIS HAPPENS!!!

  • so true..

  • Exactly! They take our tax dollars and fund for other useless project's.

  • We didn't know this was gonna happen ok, not everything can be perfect, so fuck off

  • Actually, the FEDERAL government rated this bridge with a stability rating of 50 out of 100 (not very good) in an inspection.... but they say the STATE government is at fault because it's the STATE'S job to fix the bridge. But then again..... that was conducted way the hell back in '05, and we're all only hearing about it NOW in '07.

And yeah... the wars take up way too much tax payer money.

  • Wow, half the video is news, the other half is them saying "You can only see this here, on Fox News, we beat everyone, go us, we rock".

  • God, I fucking hate Fox News

  • they are all the same, i hate equaly

  • Comment removed

  • Equality and liberty cannot occupy the same space.

One cannot have liberty without the risk of ending up with less than others and one cannot have equality without forcing those in the lead to give it up for sake of those at the rear.

I subscribe to Thomas Paine's values on liberty.

  • Then don't watch it, velcro.

  • I didn't. I saw the first two second or so and once I spotted their "SUPER EXCITING ACTION EXPLOSION IMPORTANT FOX NEWS ALEART" I closed out of the video

  • I don't know what difference it makes whoever's broadcasting it.

  • Well.... Fox tends to be kind of biased, and I find their uber-patriotism (red white and blue EVERYWHERE) as well as the whole 'fair and balanced' strutting to be rather annoying.

Oh to hell with it!!!! I'm a bit of a liberal damnit!!!! lol I try to be a moderate, but I've got a liberal 'taint'... so I can't stand Fox.

  • Whatever. :)

  • Our buddy Rupert Murdoch. What an ass!
