  • 2 things, this aint no freestyle, this is an improvisation of 1 o his tracks! I remember when he went london, think choice fm- i wanted to b there to freestyle wit him n drop a demo cd cos i always freestyled to his ins- he was aiways a massive inflence 4 me as a conshus rapper.

  • Because you're not LISTENING.

  • you gotta listen to Common shit from the mid and early 90s

  • it is 'go"

but he just did a "recycled" the words.

  • aye check out my page peep my beats lemmi kno wat u think

  • Ain't this "Go?"

  • yeah....sorta..he recycled the lyrics...

  • this is not a freestyle its from a song

  • this is his verse from "go". but not all of it i think. unless its from another song too

  • This freestyle was done way before the Be allbum.

  • this aint a freestyle...he said the same shit on take that to the bank

  • yeah, but this came out before the album came out.

  • go go go bull sh1t sh1t sro o o o o nc...

  • look at how he was lookin to the sky like man wats the words

  • goo goo goo

  • not a freestyle shit from the BE album i got stashed away somewhere dis shit was kinda lame but i like common so ill give him a pass check my shit out just go2 my pge and follow the link 2 my myspace

  • Yo! Search The...Easy16 A Milli Freestyle... Kid is Dope!!

  • he use part of his verse from go but not all of it was

  • he is so tight lol

    Thats what i'm talkin bout...

    he gives hip hop

  • Goooooooo, go go go go go and on the count of three..

    pshhh not a freestyle

  • read the info!!ppl.lol.hes using the B-E-A-T.

  • some of it was the rest was free.

  • If any of you really were hip-hop fans you would know that the entire second half is freestyled. hes listening to the song in his heaphones. repeating a couple of the lyrics helped him catch the beat. go check out the go video, then come back and really LISTEN

  • this is no freestyle!!!!!

    its the song called "Go"

  • yeah, the first few lines

  • not a freestyle its off faithful from be.

  • not it's from "GO" off "BE" ya genius!

  • wtf....

  • What a...MF...! Thats NOT Freestyle!

    unreleased song/look the lyrics!

  • this isnt a freestyle, but i still love common

  • this verse is from his single "go" . dope verse. the instrumental is playing in his headphones. the handheld camera cant hear it, but everyone else in the room can (they have on headphones as well). and so can all the listeners.

  • ur hearin to the acapella.. anything in acapella sounds bad.. but this isnt a freestyle most of it is off of a track on the be album.

  • What do ya think commin from the ear phones ya header, lol.

  • I bet if they gave him a beat he'd be better

  • --'

  • if you like this shit youtube search "wax verses" and click on the first video that comes up. dude spits BANANAS

  • WHAAAAAAAT!!!!

Dude has had no less than DILLA, Dj Premier, ?uestlove and Kanye producing for him to name a few.

Man, sounds to me you don't know too much about REAL hiphop (not that sugar coated lil jon type shit). Name me anyone there apart from Pete Rock who's as good or better?

  • 9th Wonder?

    Stoupe?

    Hi-Tek?

    Large Proffessor?

  • Fair enough there's a couple of good names there.

LP's a bit past it though in my option, was good though.

Hi-Tek's a DIlla wannabe and hasn't produced anything worth noticing since Hiteknolgy and 9th is a Pete wannabe straight up.

  • this is from the song GO with kanye and common is from pakistan

  • so what?

  • that's no freestyle...

that's one of his lyrics from his songs

  • Of course he can hear the music in his headphones. NO radio station can play the music out aloud whilst the mic levels are up because it would obviously cause feedback: Speaker-->Mic-->Speaker-->Mic

  • Not bad...not bad at all!

  • where the heck you get this being racist? And "the freestyle" is pure when done acapella. Some katz need to live a lil' to understand Hiphop..."hegemonies". Werd-up living proof of ignorance making it difficult for the real race to live . ..the huMaN race. On that note, Common laid a dope freestyle. big-upz to the dude.

  • How is that racist? It's a cheap camera, and they're probably too lazy to put the instrumental in the background. And how is it that he sounds "obscure", I could make out what he was saying. Stop playing the race-card! By the way, I'm brown so yes I am a minority.

  • yeah, im pretty sure tha instrumental is playin in his headphones. they can't play any type on sounds from off the air in the same room as the mics because it would interfere with tha mics...

  • he performed "Go" on acapella. that's pretty tight!

  • too bad choice fm don't play real hip hop no more

  • tha beginning is from go then he starts freestyling with lyrics from tha song and he switches it up, its nice

  • *saves to favorites*

    *waves to B.Kyle*

  • I still can't pick up Choice FM properly, and I live in South London.....

  • this is "go" off of his be CD. they even say that at the end of the video. still dope though.

  • Get it!!

  • all the ppl that said this isnt a freestyle.... yeah it is hahahah

listen to the original song then this, the first liek 10 seconds are teh same, but not the rest

  • What station was this on? Ain't puttin an ad in or anything, but seriously Common should've gone on Choice FM, its the only Black community & music radio station onair in London (in a city of 12 million people: we only have one station.. its a shame but its a start). Most of our peoples over here tune into that station so that rep out to Brixton would've been appreciated better!

  • addendum: freestyle is TIGHT!

  • thats not a freestyle....songs called go

  • this is a freestyle. a freestyle is something spit on thee spot over any beat or without a beat. what you guys should be saying is this is a "written". because a written freestyle is different then off the head freestyle

  • Common Sense is one of the greatest. Also, a freestyle will usually have crutches, meaning; um, yo, hey, yeah, uh, and that sort of thing. Hope I don't sound patronising. Education, one of the five pillars of hip hop. respect. Pip

  • not a freestyle! but still nice.

  • this isn't a free, but dope

  • Oh and Bri Bri, I heard the sweet shout out! You go bwoy!

  • Go Common, go Common! I'm a friend of B's...I love your flow my brotha! (smile)
