Do you ever use your Virus KB for controlling MIDI? I'd like to play softsynths etc through mine but can't quite seem to figure out how. Out of the box it simply won't transmit MIDI in any shape or form. I guess it's something to do with the OS menus...? im so clueless, and the damn thing came without a manual to boot. any ideas?

This is great. I've been playing this videogame series called Tekken for years. This video definitely reminds me of it. You should search Tekken music on here. It's quite amazing.
Very creative and appropriate score to represent the mysterious Iapetus.
What is it?, where did it come from? how can one account for its strange physical chareristics?
Look at the craters, they have no detritus piled up around their periphery, they look more like the result of an internal collapse that allowed a section of the outer surface to fall leaving clean edges. Suggesting an artificial origin.
And that nearly 10 mile high ridge around the equator, dividing the northern from the southern hemisphere.
And that black face! From whence it came?
Mysterious Iapetus quiet as silence can get but bursting to tell its story to the first venturesome explorer lucky enough to get there first. Things we cannot know yet, tax our patience and, feed the yearning to know.
This is awesome! I really love music, and I really want to play progressive rock on my keyboard. Mine is a Juno-D, and I think that I just scratched it's surface potential. Any tips that I could begin progressive rock with. If you do plz reaply
I've played the boards more then 25 years (long live the 80's prog rock). You losers below who cry he has more money then talent, shut the fuck up. I'm sick of wanna-be's who blame their gear for lack of talent. This guy has both and he bought his gear along the way because of the love of music. In the 80's I wrote great music with a Juno 106 and a Sound Canvas. I'll bet most of you hammering this guy about gear could not play a rain storm on a $5000 Synth. Let's see your videos, idiots.
@buminbeer2 Tell 'em Brother! Took me 20yrs and my wife buying me toys I really don't need to get all this stuff I now have. Love your comment. Nail on the Head. Kraftwerk, Thomas Dolby, Duran2, Depeche Mode, and many many under appreciated talents. LONG LIVE SYNTH. Later.
who's to say this guy is rich? for all you know he probably saved up every extra penny he could to buy each of those synths because he loves it that much. that's how i got all of my equipment, just accumulating it over time.
This is pretty much it. Nothing I own is worth more than $1000. If you can save up & get something new every couple years you too can have a mountain of crap by the time you're pushing 40 (like I am).
thats such a pig headed way to look at things poeple work hard for their money so it doesn't matter how bad they are if they've managed to make enough money to buy something then they deserve it whether they are talented or not, and it goes the other way round you could be the best musician ever but that doesn't mean you 'deserve' good gear you just need to work hard and earn some cash.

i didnt dis him up i just said more money then talent. i didnt dis his talent either. just not as much talent as money. and i do think that people with the biggest amount of talents (worlds greatest) deserve their great instruments because they have proved they have the talent to go with the money not the other way around.
Reminds me of "Star Ocean: Til the End of Time". I'm glad to hear your improved percussion, in my opinion the 80s sounding drum samples sounded cheezy.
Sorry to mongobongo man... accidentally removed your comment instead of clicking "reply." I HATE how the two buttons are right next to each other... crappy design, YouTube! Anyway, his comment was "where did you learn to play." I am self-taught. My parents had a big Lowrey organ and I learned how to play "Smoke on the Water" on it when I was 4 years old. Never learned how to read music, proper fingering, or even to use my left hand for much more than cupping my ballsack.
I think at one time I had Lapetus, and the doctor gave me some antibiotics to clear it up. Im not 100% sure but I think it comes from peeing in the bushes.
Dude you rock and neing a board player of 25 years plus, I know talent when I see it. I'm self-taught as well and sure all my "fingerings are wrong" as well. I've seen some of your other videos and convinced to add a JD-800 to my collection (Only play Roland :) Thanks for your time and talent.
Mmm...I don't think I could say anything else but what are you waiting to release put this together with a few other killers like this on a cd !!. I've been collecting and listening to electronic and prog. for ages now and this really brings back faith in the new prog. scene after so many boring copycats. This reminds me a bit of the power or russian masters like Artemiev or eastern- europe based Lazar Ristovski. Any chances to get this on a clearer copy for my radio shows ??? WE WANT MORE...
dude that was f*cking amazing you rock.... hey could you send that my way? i might be able to do some guitar work over it if it's cool with you. just curious was that piece mostly in C maj/A min cause i started jammin to it like hafway through cause of the groove you had setup and i can't play by ear but i just played through c maj/ and it's modes and it sounded tonally accurate? so i'm just curious for curiousity's sake. btw you rock to the max dude when ever you're in claifornia we can jam.
on second thought. if you want some killer drums recorded to that awesome ditty, send her my way without the drum track. i can record at 44.1,48.0,96.0 24 bit. let me know, i have collaborated with musicians overseas...it is a really cool process!!!
