  • Very cool

  • Someone getting the royal treatment !

  • I love this video. Every time I watch it, I cry; all 10 of my birds are rescues. Bless you and Peaches!

  • very touching

  • oh wow that is too gorgeous. does peaches grumble when you try to stop petting him?

  • Such a tame little bird. Even cuddlier than a puppy.

How old is he / she?

  • Seems they didn't like James Taylors " You Got A Freind as the soundtrack I'm working on a new one now sorry.... Buffyswell73

  • It seemed more fitting with James Taylor's version, but I love it anyway.

  • Chris,

Beautiful bird. I sure wish I could hear what it's saying.

  • Well said, only REAL men can love an animal

  • Despite the lack of audio, this video still is a chicken soup for the soul.

  • i love that bird! :D

  • I've rarely seen a bird so confy! lol

Great job Chris. Too bad the audio track has been removed...which reminds me to add:

You! Yes...YOU! the WMG copyright legal eagles: let me tell you in no uncertain terms that you suck to no end!

  • this just melts my heart.

  • que tierno!

  • the cage the cockatiel is in is it a good one iw as thinking of purchaseing it

  • Fantastic

  • Chris, I had to cry too when I saw this. I had a Military macaw that lived in our tree just outside the house and slept in his cage at night and some low lives stole him from me. I just pray to god that my little bird isn't being abused.

  • Chris, your nurturing spirit is going to help u not just with Peaches but in the rest of your life too. After seeing horrific videos of abused birds, I needed to see something like this to be comforted. Good job.

  • Cuuuuuuuuuuuute! Thats adoreable! x

  • That is just absolutely beautiful.

  • Takes a lot of trust and love to get that far. Reminded me of my Times with my Cockateil Zues. Thanks for posting.

  • Birds are the eyes and ears of heaven! Made me cry! Need more people like you in thi mean old world! Peace Out!

  • Love love LOVE this video! It's so precious. What a wonderful bond you have with Peaches. Are you going to be putting more videos out. I would love to see more!!

  • I hope Chris does this every day for years to come, and gets married to someone that loves Peaches as much as Peaches loves Chris. :-)

  • OMG I almost cried! How lovely. There's nothing like the unconditional love of a pet to get you through. I miss my little budgies so much. They used to bring me such joy and comfort. Peaches just looks so happy with his new friend. God bless you both!

  • I sometimes hug my bird but if I pet for more then 1 minute he gets annoyed.

  • Be sure your note hitting a blood feather and try under the wing. Also what kind of bird is it?

  • He is a moluccan cockatoo.

  • That made my day. Thank you so much for sharing. Have a happy and long life with your new friend.

  • two sweet, gentle souls =)

  • you should make some more vidoos of peaches. I absolutely love the one you currently have online.

  • There is nothing more pure than the love of an animal. Pure, magical, unconditional love. Thank you for sharing your love.

  • give a parrot a home and it will love you forever

  • You have a wonderful bond with the birdie. Your bird is soooooo loved. That's wonderful!!!

  • I AGREE

  • I signed up just now so that I could let you know how much your video touched my heart. It is obvious that you love each other very much. It's very sweet, how lucky you both are :-)

  • That is so cute! It makes me wanna cry! :(

  • That's adorable. My quaker likes to snuggle but not to that extent. I was initially shocked at how many birds you had, but read on and you know what you're talking about and caring for them properly so the shock is gone. Cute video :0)

  • I've never seen such an affectionate parrot! Very cute!

  • Very sweet and nice. I love anyone who loves and is kind to our feathered friends.

  • endless love :) very cute...

  • that's sweet!

  • Ahh thats so cute! I wish my conure Delorean was like that, but even though he's very loving he deosnt like hands..

  • that's god damn adorable :) it must be love ahah.

  • What a beautiful bird, they can be a handful sometimes but worth every moment.

    Awesome video.

  • Aww two of a kind! x

  • that is vary sweet you both are lucky to have each other

  • Wow !!!!

  • really cute bird really trusting you have a friend for life

  • Oh dear, what a loving sweet bird... Give Peach's a big hug for me. :)

  • 46 birds... wow, that's an achievement, and you have a separate room for all of them? i have one umbrella cockatoo now and I'm gonna be looking for a for her soon. but anyways, cockatoos are the best snugglers. if i could, i would take every one i see.

  • they are never out unattended. Its interesting to note that all my birds do talk, and I encorage this for interaction. These birds have accepted me into there flock, there truly is no feeling like having 2 love birds kissing at your face while the macaw across the hall is saying "Com err don't cha love me. Must run the big guys are calling, thanks for the post and keep in touch.Buff

  • FYI windows contain iron that filters out the vitamin d spectrum so even if your cage is by a window your birds don't recieve full spectrum lighting. I also clip them in summer months to allow me to take each one out in the 200 fooot back yard with a 8 foot wooden fece around it which so far has kept every cat ect, out .

  • . There are 7 cages in here. The basement has a room with a floor to ceiling cage complete with a 5 tier waterfall,The rest of the room is free flight for cockateils. These are just to give you an idea, there are more. ALL cages are cleaned twice daily and are each equipped with proper avian lighting to ensure there ability for vitamin D obsorbtion.

  • Please reasearch breeding of these birds regarding flight size and agressiveness off the male. Also nestbox type.

  • all i have to say is aweeee aweeeeeeeeeee

  • 46, are you out of your mind lol. I have such a nightmare watching the 2 of mine, I need eyes in the back of my head. Peaches is so beautiful, I just didn't think I'd be able to handle the noise from a cockatoo, they are so vocal, I didn't think the neighbours would like it.

  • my grandad had a cockatoo but it atacked my nan so it had to go!

  • I would love my 2 to be that trusting with me. I have 2 eclectus and the female was on the verge of attack when I got her at 15 weeks, now with a lot of hard wirk she is an angel but eclectus don't like too much petting, which of course I hate lol. the male was always a little monster and still is.

  • That is one trusting bird. I love moluccans, they are so beautiful. I hope he's in a lovely big cage now and not the one in the video, he's so beautiful.

  • Peaches cage is MUCK larger than the finch cage you see in the back ground. His cage is the size of our Macaw and 2 other goffin cickatoos that occupy one whole room across the hall complete with proper lighting for vitamin D absorbtionthey get fruit and veggies every morning and a supplement of vitamin pellets and a viriaty of nuts DAYLY,And for treats the love 12 grain bread again daily.

  • They do not eat all given them but the choices are there for them, I have found however that the peanuts were staying in peaches crop so I had to milk it and hes back to himself 12 half digestred nuts can up so there OFF his diet,Currently I have 46 birds in the flock and there all just like peaches. My best freinds.

  • Oh Wow, that is just the sweetest thing. Peaches looks so loving, how could anyone not want to hug him. He looks like he really is happy is his new home. Good luck Chris and Peaches!!

    Lisa M.

  • masallah allah bozmasın

  • Gee, I wonder if he's feeling just a little grateful to have been rescued. ;) That's precious!

  • Too cool.. ^_^

  • I think Im going to cry :'( I love birds.

  • awww...I think that love is a bit of an understatement. Even so, he looks like he just loves to be loved, like a lot of winged, four legged and furry family members (aka "pets").
