monte carlo got hurt by the years of construction of citycenter too. the flow of foot traffic on the west side of las vegas blvd was terrible. add a bad economy on top of that and yes it was dead. business has picked up at least 30 percent from last year.

@gocheapvegas I stayed in March and it was really slow but stayed a week ago and the place was packed every night :)

@jonbob1 yes, vegas is doing well right now. october is one of the best months at all casinos, because of football season and the weather.

monte carlo is a great place to stay mainly because of location, great food court and sports book. but best of all, you can walk to mgm,new york new york, luxor,mandalay bay, excalibur and now to the north you can explore citycenter.
