How was it possible to fly ships inside a planet? And ships passing by, with fireworks? Was this like at the final days of the game in december? I didn't play the final days :(
@ironmaiden93ofangmar yes it was the final days. I never got to play the final days. Lots say play the emu for one i dont have the original disk and two some things you cat replace the friends that you made in the game in the era
That is why I hate games of this kind. So much work, so much work all gone after it is no longer profitable. You had to pay money to play it and after 7 years only the last hard core fans remained. But those people are so small that the game no longer makes a profit and win out profits all things end under capitalism. Star Wars Galaxies, a waste. It could have been a great game if it had a single player modus like KOTOR. But it was made for on-line gaming and now it is gone.
@Kalkas53 I think because SWTOR had great success and it required a lot of hosting, so I think they shutted SWG to use the Servers on SWTOR. I don't know, I read that maybe I'm wrong.
@evenios I did play mmorpgs for a while but I think it is stupid to need to pay a monthly fee for server use, you don't see any of the bf,cod, assassins creed, gears doing it. My point is, I think that once you get the game, (pay your 60 dollars) you should have free access to everything. But great video, it actually got me sad because I also played galaxies and the sony servers were the best.
@staypuftlova yea but to those games dude you have to buy addon maps etc. Like mmos you gotta pay for there support when they update and constantly add stuff etc and for server work. But we all have an opinion

@maskanio1 TOR is a great game. Galaxies was more open ended but really had bland worlds and environments I like how in TOR it makes you feel like you are on a journey its a great game and i am tired of so many people griping about little issues instead of just enjoying it!
@evenios On a journey?... All the zones are just closed off quest areas. There's no free-world roaming. You pass through loading zones and you're in new areas.

But I went to SWTOR because it reminds me of Galaxies. It has online play and worlds just like Galaxies, but it focas' on a specific time and story. So you cant dress up like a slave and all that. But time will prove me right, there will be another game after that. If you hate SWTOR, then dont 'waste your money'. Some like the game
@evenios Bland worlds and environments? Completely disagree. ToR can hardly be called an "MMO" - it's more like an RPG with an online multiplayer component (the server "channels" and linear gameplay completely deprive it of any immersion).
Ok i have never played this game and sadly never will but i have some things to say. First of all amazing video. Second, great song choice! I love Bon Iver. Third, this video gave me the chills, like not joke i teared up at the end and i haven't even played it. Im sorry you had to lose such a great game. I hope you find something else that will hopefully make up for it.
@ItsAllAboutTehGames Its not too late to play technically theres an emulator for this game althought it is glitchy you just need the original SWG: an Empire Divided CD set to play.
Was a great game back in the day. Sadly it was never given the love it deserved. I've not played for 2 years but kept an eye on it during that time. Started on tempest ended on star sider - great memories and really cool video, thank you for sharing.

@churchdudeman There is a lot of player choice. I recently did a mission where I killed a cave full of force sensitive individuals.I was given the choice to let them live or die. The quests actually feel like you are advancing the story.

@maskanio1 TOR is a great game. Galaxies was more open ended but really had bland worlds and environments I like how in TOR it makes you feel like you are on a journey its a great game and i am tired of so many people griping about little issues instead of just enjoying it!
