Marshall Govindan does not have permission from his Guru, Yogi S. A. A. Ramaiah to initiate seekers into the kriya yoga techniques. He was been removed from the International Kriya Babaji Yoga Sangam for breaking his vow not to reveal the techniques, and for stealing Yogi Ramaiah's books and publishing them as his own. Perhaps in his next lifetime he will be communicating by rubbing his hind legs together.

We are all very lucky to be alive, and we are fragile, the earth is fragile. We need to start being scientist, stop looking for guarantees in life. Stop this mentality, even if you are as great as Jesus is said to be you have to realize that even Jesus washed his disciples feet. Maybe Kriya Yoga works, maybe it doesn't. I have been blessed to have taken Satchidiannadaji's initiation to Kriya Yoga and feel it was the most important thing I've done since my first breath. In this ego driven,material world it is rare to find a being that gives so much and asks for little in return. If you are seeking a peace in your mind and soul I would recomend that you contact him. Very interesting post. I remember in the movie Woodstock they were doing Kundalini Yoga. Kriya Yoga is new to me, tho Kundalini does call its sets kriyas. The Kundalini will alter consiousness.
