im a huge charmed fan, but i 12 wen this aired and couldnt really understand wat was going on,so basically for the past 2months channel 11 in australia hav been playing in order an episode a day of charmed and 2day was 'all hell breaks loose' , did channel 11 cut off the start of the ep coz the 1st scene was with prue,phoebe and piper saving a doctor talkin about shax like they had already studied him,it seems like they started the episode/story sort of mid point if that makes sence lol?
Is it me or does the script not make that much sense within the first few minutes? The girls bring an innocent back home as he's a target for a demonic attack. Prue and Piper claim they don't who the demon is but when Phoebe goes to the Book of Shadows suddenly they know they're up against a demonic hit-man who's also The Source's personal assasin. Has the "Have no knowledge when Phoebe's around but suddenly know it all when she's gone" spell been cast at all?
Although I did like Prue, everything was always about her and what an awesome witch she was. It felt like she was the main character instead of all the three. After Paige came along, there was more balance between the characters and the show became more dynamic and exciting. Paige's powers were practicaly the same as Prue's (she eventually learned how to throw objects) plus the ones from her Whitelighter half. Paige was better than Prue in every aspect. And Rose McGowan is prettier.
@RuanNerd down side? rose mcgowan was a very average actress, shannen excelled in all aspects of the performance, however i agree that paige's character was more audience friendly
what i dont get is why prue or piper didnt use their powers to get rid of shax in the manor piper could of blown him up and prue could could of use flying power instead of everyone dying
It's so obvious that Shannon & Alyssa had some tension on the set. I mean just look at their facial expressions and body language. They barely make eye contact, and when they do it's merely eye rolls or stern stares. Hell, they're barely in the same room or scene together. Phoebe going to the attic alone, and now Phoebe going to the underworld alone. Did anyone else catch that? Lol
Shannen directed this episode so was part of every single scene in this episode including Alyssa's so I think this tension/lack of scenes together thing is a bit exagerrated.

@JeriahTee1404 I noticed the tension between them on a few episodes. Once Shannen was off the show Alyssa seemed like a different person. She just seemed to shine in her role after that-seemed more relaxed and into it.
I know lots of people loved Prue but I always preferred Paige.
Are you serious Phoebe was UNBEARABLE after Prue died, she turned into such a slut and wore slutty clothes then she become obsessed with having a baby. The whole Cole drama in Season 5 ruined her completely for me.

But with Piper, I see where you're comin from, SHE had enough time to freeze his butt or at least that areokinetic blast. But the way they were injured was kinda cool(though its bootie that shannen left)

from what i read, forgot where i read it... it was because of this incident that the cleaners were made, simply to avoid this problem in the future.... as for the whole prue dying thing, again i agree with a former statement forgot where again.. that even though i love prue, you have to admit by prue dying, the show did improve, cause if prue was still around it wouldve focused on her yet again, with prues death, it gave pipers character to develop to a better character. same with phoebe
