I just got the PX5s yesterday. It took some getting used to when using "Footsteps" mode in Call of Duty (everything sounded kind of "tinny"), but after a few games, I felt like I was cheating because the advantage was so much!

You can use this headset for PC just fine. (Skype and game sound).

I had to go to control panel>Sound and and disable everything but the headset. I am not sure that the mic will work. Maybe if you have bluetooth

@xXLunarisraidXx I agree! One workaround is to always disable Annotations when viewing videos. That'll help when people like Chilla put a video-sized annotation links on their screen to get additional views on other vids.

i have the x41's and ax pros, i like the new additional bluetooth and cellphone capabilitys,

im assuming it will still be the same 7.1 emulation like the x41's ?

i also like the usb so you can tinker with your game audio settings, with only 2 settings on the x41's im sure that will be a hit with most folks or current x41 users who purchase this.

I tried both and the px5's are way better. My friend actually returned his sony wireless headset and went back to his p21's

I have the PX5's, they are very much worth the money. I use it for xbox, and I have the wireless adapter for the controller so i dont have to deal with the cord, the style is nice, the presets are amazing, everything is amazing.

My friend got the newer TB x12. Sounds like a fucking Kinect mic it's awful. Now, I have older X4s that have been repaired numerous times, and the mic is finally shot. @jakerocker456 just bought the px5's the other day, at the push of a button you switch between regular sound and "footsteps" awesome for search. They feel nice and comfortable when you first put them on but after a while your temples start to ache a bit. There is a bit of crackling for example when a napalm goes over head the sound crackles a little. A little bit of hissing. Bluetooth is cool, tho chews the batteries. If you got the coin get the a40's. Px5s got all the gadgets tho. and cheaper.

Sigh, this headset is good but needs improvement... it transmits over 2.4ghz instead of 5ghz.... It eats batteries, mic could be a lot better. The DSP/Transmitter is retarded, could have let the user decide if wanted to use Spidif or Coaxial outputs :/. It isn't a bad headset, sound is good (bass could be a lot better). But don't use this for movies or music. Strictly designed for gaming, except the mic isn't great :S

@Bladerunner55217 I am pretty sure it doesn't come pre-equipped with moise cancellation but if you hook it up to your computer with windows XP or higher you program it to cancel out ambient, electronic, and any other noises that may cause fuzz or static in your microphone.
