  • he was too scared to go upstairs, lawl.

  • @X8802 I value my life; those stairs were rotten

  • Looks like a doll at 1:36

  • You got balls my friend. I love exploring places like that but would never be able to do it alone.

  • With that creepy music I expected a body to fall from a hole in the ceiling at any moment. You have a thumbs up from me.

  • I love abonedoned houses.you find godies in it. last time i found 3 medals of the 2005 soccer.

  • I envy you, hadn't had a find on that level yet.

  • and then its gone

  • dosent it look like a face around 5:00

  • did you find any bottle caps or stimpaks?

  • Awww why didn't you go into the attic?

  • @markusboyd3 I guess because its to dangerous.

  • damn kids. . . GET OFF MY LAWN!!!

  • ill never take something in a abandoned home

you may never know if someones haunting the house

  • @N1gHtStAlKeR726 I agree with you.

  • if it was abandoned why not just smash it up, for a bit of a laugh

  • @LordPipweed because is a part of history...you dont destroy history for fun!

  • Can you send me the footage but without the music as Im trying to make a horror like movie

  • @drapermovies Just turn your audio off. I did that before watching the video.

  • Ballz..

  • If your into exploring abandoned things, there was a house i would suggest, but, someone now owns that house. And they already fixed it up D:

  • That family still in the area ?

  • @HattieLovesCattie I do not think the descendants are in the area any more

  • @HattieLovesCattie Thanks for the info. Many committed suicide back then coz it was the start of The Great Depression.I had one great great uncle hang himself coz he didn't want to lose his farm.He was an old bachelor.I think my Granddad inherited it and my Mother grew up there during the Great Depression. They had food but that was it.

  • i love exploring abandoned houses. theres this one i went through that has kid toys and clothes still in the house

  • i watched this video with chicken dance song

  • With the the extremely decrepit condition of the house, I'm actually quite surprised by the almost uncorrupted condition of those ancient letters and newspaper adds you found.

  • What was the name of that song playing that sounded like it was from a musical box. I remember that song playing on a wind up clown I had and it brought back memories

  • @jesika1984 that music box clip was the second half of the song "Haunted Nursery" by Midnight Syndicate. I edited it down because the first half of the song could easily be it's own piece, and was way too creepy for what I wanted in my video.

  • @jesika1984 can i have more info on that?

  • is it me or is there something at 1:43 in front of the windows disappering immediatly?

  • @Cetchupboys you are scaring yourself =P

  • wow- made me nauseous- learn to use the camera

  • It's beautiful...

  • Now this is the type of music I like to hear while watching abandoned house videos. Not the depressing piano crap! Thanks for posting!

  • Carl O. Hedstrom died in 1989...he was from Washington Minnesota...

  • attic?

  • That wasn't as bad a production as I initially thougt it would be.

It started out with the typical, annoying, dubbed movie music, which I had to mute. Then it went along and the music became less annoying, more specific, and the video was good. Not some teen running through the place like some scary cat. The focusing in on the dated catalogs was great. The black shoes, coat, and gloves gave it an overall fitting touch. 8 1/2 out of 10.

  • Hahahah I dig the creepy music...

  • i would tag that shit like u wouldnt believe

  • @a7x4eva97

Oh, you're such a cool gangstah homie yo...

Grow up, it is not cool, nor respectful to ruin historical places or items.

  • @Fahren47 queer, in my case thats farrr from historical. get with the 2011

  • @a7x4eva97

Just about all buildings are historical, in some aspect.

Even tho it may not be as historica as Westminster Abbey or the Catacombs of Paris, it is still quite disrespectful to "tag sit" like this. Or do you not agree?

  • Sadly that place looked a little beyond saving.

  • I Love Old Abandoned Places I Find Them So Cool! To Think Somone At Some Time Used To Live In There, In A House Not Thinking Somone After Would Be Looking At It! I Wish A House Beside Me Was Abandoned

  • now walk through at night time

  • whats so scary about abondoned houses/places i would love to explore one

  • @UberTacoNoob falling through the rotten floorboards would be a little scary

  • @UberTacoNoob Even without the possibilities of paranormal activities, there are still dangers like loose floorboards and ceilings, vermin and dangerous animals or insects, or even dangerous squatters or [in an extreme case] fugitives.

  • wtf is up with the music?

  • if u went in there by yourself u have balls

  • "

"if it was abandoned why didnt u just smash the windows and break things, have a bit of fun, would of been better than just filming it like a boring twat."....I think most of us dont do this to destroy things, rather we do it to record and document. Some of us actually like watching this stuff. Why everything has to be tagged and destroyed I will never understand !!

  • holy crap! that's got to be the scariest music i've ever heard.

  • WHATCHU DOING FILMING MY CRIB LIKE THAT I THOUGHT I TOLD U I HAD TO CLEAN UP A BIT BEFORE WE FILM HAHA JK

  • @PipweedTheGreat haha there was nothing left to smash haha,

but yeah we just got done filming one we found, we did that lol

  • @PipweedTheGreat destroying historical relics like that is not my idea of fun. Please stay away from museums.

  • @PipweedTheGreat its called "exploring" an abandond house, not "breaking" one u fucking twat

  • Comment removed

  • @Leatherbubba oops, they bulldozed your house! All that's left is your windmill.

  • thats some creepy shit

  • one word.... amazing.... beautifully build even though it is torn down, next time u go there mine inviting me? lol

  • AA PRESS MUTE

  • 1:21 Thats Where The Rope was That He Used to Suicide with

  • look up carl o hedstrom.

  • hey guys look up carl o hedstrom. its kinda cool

  • Cool vid. I would have been scared as fcuk* to go in there by myself.

  • This is absolutly brilliant. Such a shame that they take houses like this down, theyre great to go around. I used to live near an abandond mental hospital. It sufferd a fire in 2004 that took out most of the building, but the bits that were left, were brilliant to go around. It got taken down because it had begun to fall in on itself.

  • the basement looks exactly like the basement from the first blair witch project.

  • Comment removed

  • @claire1667 Yeah that was the old silo, and at that moment I was standing on the foundation of the barn, which is where the suicide took place in 1920.

  • @brojoghost. cool. how did the house get destroyed.

  • @claire1667 it was bulldozed last spring or summer, and I heard they want to put a gas station there :(

  • @brojoghost cool. shell or co op?

  • Those old magazines looked in pretty good condition for being forty plus years old, i think that the film maker must have planted them there just for effect. Music was cool.

  • @Brooklyn7071 actually, the magazines were addressed to Carl Hedstrom. He owned the house from the early 20th century until he died in the 1980s

  • @brojoghost Sometimes it's best to leave items in a place that is abandoned and the person no longer with us......you never know if that person could have an attachment to it and you end up bring home his or her spirit.

  • thats creepy , even tho me nd my cousins snuk into an abandon crazy people hospital it was SCARY!!! nd funny lol

  • Wow there were some pretty old magazines, they are valuable.

  • The windmill is still standing! :)

  • Just watching this makes my skin crawl

  • 8:24 WTF was that! It looked like a ghost or something was running away!

  • @IHeartMacsH8r5 i saw tha to

  • thats very cool did you take any of the magazines with you, i would look around some more for them since they are so old before someone destroys them.

  • @XxDarkWolfTrancexX well, there was a suicide in the barn (which is now only a foundation) in 1920. He was an in-law of the owners at the time

  • in all abandoned buildings, why is there crap thrown all over the place?

is that from weather getting in? is that how all buildings are left? or are there people who go to abandoned buildings just to throw shit around?

  • @Superchickenman159 previous "explorers" probably trashed the place. There are an unfortunately high number of comments from other users asking why I didn't destroy more of the house. I never feel the desire to destroy anything when I explore.

  • The face on 5:00 is a cat...

  • @chris8170 from reviewing the original footage (quality in the YouTube version is lost to video compression), it really just looks like light from the attic window being cast on the ceiling lath

  • This is very atmospheric, fantastic video.

  • looks old that house, all the mail is like ancient haha i went in an abandoned house with my friends and it had a farm in the back yard scary as! and are you on your own?

  • @iskateyourate yeah I was alone. Nobody was brave enough to come with me

  • o and btw the creepy music adds alot lol i would be soooo bored if it didnt have that

  • cat at 5:00???

  • @Scruffie440 from reviewing the original footage (quality in the YouTube version is lost to video compression), it really just looks like light from the attic window being cast on the ceiling lath

  • hey man 1. how old do you think that house is, and 2. how the hell did you find it?

  • @monsterhead13 I think it was originally built in the 1840s or early 1850s. It's along a major road that leads to a small town in my area. Unfortunately they bulldozed it, and all that is left is the windmill :(

  • dude yu got balls

  • holy shit not the the happy and creepy song that starts at 4:53 O.o

  • You sill alive?

  • @HazardClips ...yes :)

  • @HazardClips Good question

  • O_o this guy has some set of balls

  • That Black 1964 Vw Beetle advertisement page you picked up is worth quite a bit to colectors of vw memorobelia

  • Sounds like the music from FEAR!!!! HAHAHAHA Great!

  • After this walk i would have a lot of crap in my pants!

  • @suzuk5 Heh, I might suggest using the restroom before exploring ;)

  • Must have been a very proud farm once. that silo probably had less than 30 years of use.

  • I visit places like this every chance I get. The only thing to be scared of is the floorboards :)

I prefer doing to places like this in the winter because you can easily tell what is any animal have been in the house and could potently still be there. (Tracks in snow)

  • Must have been a pretty nice old farm house at one time.

  • @junkertrucks Definitely! There's a photograph of the house in it's prime at the local historical society. It's a real shame they bulldozed it.

  • Terrifying, yet intriguing :) I wish there was an abandoned house round here, I wanna explore one

  • 2:29 looked like a hand on your far left. Creepy house. Did you go by yourself? I would never go by myself in anny abandoned house. Were you scared? I would`ve been. You`re so brave..

  • I also heard, "come on" at 1:24 and "here" at 1:26 but I wonder if it's part of the spooky soundtrack? The music really sets the mood this was well done. I wish I could find a creepy old house like this to explore to bad they tore it down.

  • @dragonfly7259 yeah, the video audio was muted, it's all in the music

  • I think abandoned houses are pretty :)

  • @MoMoGirl08 Me too, love rusting cars too, i think antiques and old things look better with age, and hate when people refinish them to look like new!

  • @Dreambro1 5 miles from where this video is a small 1856 family burial ground in the woods. I thought the history and graves were intriguing by themselves, but when I explored the place, nearby was a 1964 VW Bug just rusting away in the woods! It would seem that many of the trees there are less than 40 years old, so getting the car there wasn't a problem... now getting that car OUT would definitely be a problem! It's on another video of mine called "Cemetery Strolls V: The Secret of Vollmer" :)

  • What's the song at 3:15?

  • november 14 1964 wow! who lived in that house? and why was it abandoned?

  • if it was abandoned why didnt u just qreck it and have some fun by smashing the windows. ur boring. and gay.

  • @Pipweed and youre a douche bag for saying that!

  • Because genuine urban explorers never vandalize, steal or damage anything.

  • @Yamamanama thats crap. ur boring

  • Greetings from Afton, MN! Yes, you can see the spirit actually turn away as you get closer, at the end of the clip. Great video! I always kinda felt sorry for that ol' house.

  • what is up with ashpalt shingles

  • @westwoodea I'm guessing they once attempted to restore the house. There are also painting supplies in the upper floor. Unfortunately, the house is gone now. :(

  • i used to get high in that house all the time

  • at 0:51, before you enter, there are footsteps in the snow. Are those your footprints?

I would be too scared to enter... it's places like this where killers hide.

  • @SirRiehl They were not my footsteps, but the snow was settled enough that they looked to be at least one or two weeks old

  • thats stupid they took it down!!

  • this guy has balls of steel!

  • @akCHRIS415 indeed!

  • I like how the camera plays up a but, sometimes an indication of paranormal activity

  • @The21jumpstreet21 right at the beginning when the camera footage trips while it's facing the silo, I am standing on the foundations of the barn, just a few feet away from where the suicide happened in 1920

  • i could swarn i heard at 1:24 come and on 1:26 here

  • 4:35 is weird music.

  • the music makes the vid sound realt freaky

  • :/ What's wrong with it? It seems like a shame they destroyed it ; n ; I think it's a really pretty house.

  • oh gawd! nov 14 my birthday D:

  • and one who can zoom in go to 4:59 and look at the left side of the staircase almost directly up from the second stair where the darkness is you will see a face! then play the video and you will see the face moves away really creepy lol

  • @mazzkiller2 from reviewing the original footage (quality in the YouTube version is lost to video compression), it really just looks like light from the attic window being cast on the ceiling lath

  • I found this in the social security death index:

    HEDSTROM, CARL O 01 Dec 1898 19 - Nov 1989 Age 90 Minnesota 468-56-9574

  • my cousin has a house in the woods just like that we moved old wood around and are now using it in an airsoft war

  • that house aint haunted and it not scary at all it just abandoned, poor house all alone in the woods

  • just makes you wonder what happend in that house and the history in it

  • @crackcrackkorn there was a suicide there in 1920... I found the original record at the local historical society

  • OMG! That music freaks me out. You really scared me! I Would never go in there alone! RESPECT!

  • do you know which country those who lived in the house came from?? I think Hedstrom sounds Swedish.

  • @gagnefpojken94 Yeah, I think you're correct, it sounds Swedish... though from what I remember, the Hedstroms bought that house from the Eastwoods who built it. They were from England... to be precise I think from Cheshire, England.

  • lesson 1!- Never go someplace like this alone.... you never know who/what is inside that house!

lesson 2!-Always bring food, rope and flaslight with you... you may fall somewhere!

lesson 3! When your going somewhere tell your friend or family!

lesson 4! Never forget your best friend-KNIFE!

these are my motos... i like going into abandoned houses too... so interesting and creepy... those things that i wrote you have to follow!!!

  • @bademo15 leme guess...you've had an interesting experience that made u g by these? or....?

  • very well done

  • 2:29 WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?! WAS THAT A FREAKING ANIMAL LIMB OR SOMETHING?!

  • @WaddleDance dead mouse...dried

  • @WaddleDance Looks like a dead rat.

  • @WaddleDance I think it's a rat corpse :)

  • spooky video. Very appropriate. Adds to the feeling of horror.

  • Were there really mice or was that the music? Lol I know its like the least important thing here but I'm just curious. I wanta go there :D

  • @Dryleafswarrior

    ...

Yeah, you're gonna have a problem with that last thing...

  • @MrNobody47710 I know it was demolished

  • why were you in my house when i was at work?

  • For a second it felt like I was looting from a house in Fallout 3. O_O The music as you look at the letters and magazines makes me feel sad for some reason. More so than creeped out.

  • Hedström is swedish :O

incredible there were magazines from '64!

that attick looked pretty scary as well.

Really sad they took it down... :(

  • Aggh why does the music have to be so goddamn creepy?!

  • Wow..That magazine was 46 years old. XD Whenever I enter an abbandoned house, I always find it interesting to look for old letters and newspapers, little scraps of evidence and information about what the person who lived there was like, or when they lived there.

  • Oh, damn the music is terrible .... please tell me the author of this area home

  • nevermind i read the description but still..creeppyy

  • Where do you live? I could have sworn i have been in that same aban
