Wow, talk about missing the point! Those of you who think this is "racist" prove the point of the video! The "race card" is thrown around so recklessly these days that the term "racist" has lost almost all meaning. As for the character going off to a Black Panther rally, it's called irony. Hello!
This cartoon does a really bad job of trying to prove its point. I consider myself a Libertarian and I would never think a black person was going off to a Black Panthers rally.
This video seems sorta racist to me. People are sensitive to racism because it is a real part of our past and reality, and it seems wrong to mock that. We've come a long way in fighting racism and videos like these make it seem like people are not justified in making accusations of racism, when in fact racism is still very common
@mskincaid1 racism is still real, but you can't deny that the false accusation of racism is a common tool used by the left against conservatives and libertarians.
not really obsessed with political correctness. More like I am obsessed with having self-respect. Sorry if it offends you, but if someone calls me a derogatory word it demonstrates a lack of intelligence on their part and is extremely disrespectful. If you think that's PC then whatever, but no one wants to tolerate your bullshit believe it or not.
also to be honest you have this going on. white americans live in bubble A and black americans live in bubble B while having full view of bubble A. In a way we are shown bubble A as a goal at the same time given a message of not allowed into it also. But also with bubble A you really do not get to see beyond your own life, but same with bubble B at times they do not see beyond their own lives. What you have to realize is you may not see racism, but if you're not white you live it
then on top of that we gotta deal with people such as yourself in the real world. Not really racist, but very much unaware that you might be a bit disrespectful of either their identity, culture, or just them as a homo sapien. In general you might say something that comes off as racist even when you do not identify as such. Thus the "PC" culture becomes the scapegoat. In a way its harder to build a bridge which is important in a multicultural society not just multiracial.
with that being said there are black conservatives and black libertarians.. Libertarianism in general is a huge camp with battle lines drawn in the sand. Also to be honest there are racist everywhere. They right now have the loudest voice in the political philosophy you adhere to. But denial of their existence kind of reinforces in the minds of most non-whites and non-americans(even if white) that you might hold those views thus no fire under their feet. thus they come off as racist
@lordblazer no, they don't. if you're referring to the Tea Party, which I'm betting you are, then A. They're not racist and B. They're not libertarian. They have some libertarian ideas, but their views on social issues are quite different.
You'll full of shit. The libertarians you've noticed are not racist, you just see them as racist. The left is obsessed with racism and skin colors, I consider anyone left of center bigots.
seriously? when they're telling me that black people are just simply less intelligent less evolved humans, and then citing a known racist within a field that is obsolete. Yea, that's my perception alright.
No one has claimed blacks are genetically inferior in terms to intelligence.
It's just that polls show that their IQ levels lean towards the bottom, while the top ranks include Asians and the Jewish. It's not a racist remark at all; it's just a fact-based intellectual assertion. I don't use this statistic to stereotype the average African as of lower breed, not by any means, it's just a statistic.
By the way, the NAACP isn't fighting on your side.

Please take this video down if you care at all about Libertarian values, it is pretty racist and we don't need Libertarianism associated with it
