@Deathrape2001 I wouldn't say ruined. He used Devin Townsend in the past (fantastic musician might I add) but his vocals wouldn't fit this type of song. Steve's voice actually fits this style of music. Because this is, more or less, 70's lounge. So you can say his vocals are cheesy, but that might just be because you dont listen to this genre enough.

@Nicatus I don't know man...let's be really honest here: I love Vai and MOST of his music. But his flat voice simply destroys every ounce of value he creates with the rest of his body in his creations. I understand it is difficult to find a vocalist who would elevate his music even higher but I would say that Vai exercises a lack of good judgement each time he uses mic for any other purpose than introducing his next song. I am sick of his vocals. He simply does NOT have a voice. Simple as that.
