The car was great I will admit. Although the transformation sequences were lacking any kind of realism. The acting and story lines were the down fall of this show.
@FuzzyTaco45 The original Knight Rider's interior shots were just as chromakey as KR:2008. eg: when David Hasselhoff is playing Frogger while KI2T drives, or any time they're driving fast, really (they didn't actually hurl actors and an interior camera down a highway at 100mph). The exterior effects are not chromakey - they're, stunts, camera trickery or CGI. Regardless, I got news for you: the original's effects weren't any more real.

You could have worded it with less of the colourful language but I do think that KR 2008 does dissapoint hugely. They could have at LEAST cut down on the greenscreen and done some actual stunts...

@Knight2000Rocks fuck off motherfucking bitch, why do you think they canceled the show? Because not that many viewers watched the show. The old series back in the 80s was the best and will always stay the best. I know that it wasn't all green screen. They probably had 1 or 2 real car scenes in one episode before it got canceled.
@Flamebeow They went out of production in 2002. At best, it would be a 6 year old car, from a 15 year old design (the last gen Firebird ran 1993-2002) that doesn't actually look like the third gen 'bird used for KI2T. Nobody's going to be impressed by that. And it wouldn't make sense that this super-advanced AI - more advanced than KI2T - with nanotech, touch-surface skin, holographic HUD, remote network hacking capabilities and the ability to transform is embedded in a discontinued 6-15 YO car.

KITT's finish in attack mode should have been flat black, just to make it look stealthy
