  • anytime he says um it sounds like a lion

  • RLP Barry, love your music, it always put me in a good mood whenever I hear it and my favourites songs are September When I First Met You and Sho You Right, they are great tracks and a lot better than You're The First, The Last My Everything.

  • oh my, what a voice!

  • his voice is so deep it's making my computer vibrate

  • My boyfriend has a voice like this and as Iam six months pregnant he speaks to my bump saying daddys here, and daddy loves you etc the baby always kicks whenever he hears his daddys voice. The babys dad is out at the mo I started watching this and the minute Barry started talking the baby started kicking, Iam laughing saying no thats not your dad lol

  • His voice flows with music even when he speaks. I want that voice!

  • i love hearing musicians talk about their craft

  • Show you right indeed ..."

"more equipted .. because I have all the knowlege they only have a section of it"

". Voice Words Wisdom with that Voice"

    Gone way too Soon !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "used to be a professional back scratcher" HAHAHHA

  • My subwoofer aches soooooo badly...

  • People have called him a baritone. If he is a baritone, James Earl Jones is a tenor.

  • i just search a barry's interview cause i wanted to hear his Voice!

  • @JohnnysVlogs *HIGH FIVES* LOOOL

  • @JohnnysVlogs What is the title of this cut ?

  • r i p barry !! brazil !

  • @Breshaun718 Now what I'd like to hear is YOUR VOICE! LOL

  • The bass resonates in his throat and makes my balls tingle.

  • @FrankyStarlite lolllllll wtf

  • @FrankyStarlite LMAOOOOOOOOOOO lol

  • It seems like that shit he said about the 80's was the truth. I was born in '90 but It does seem like a bunch of artists just made a dance beat and layed a bunch of nonsense over it.

  • Barry White...is a lengend the voice speaks for its self .......thank you Rick Ross for bringin him back to the spot light.... check out Rick Ross Even deeper !

  • @Quintpapa22

Barry White's voice makes Rick Ross sound like Richard Simmons

  • oh my goodness this bass. his voice makes my room shake.

  • this bass in his voice. my room is trembling

  • Barry White simply one of kind. A great man and musician.

  • WOW when he said... "its my EVERYTHING" jheez its hit me... it reminded me of his song - my first, my last, my everything

  • @discocreator76 And then he changed. If he didn't develop from that area, he wouldn't be talking about it in this interview.

  • If he was still alive you just know he would be an extremely well paid voice actor.

  • what a distinctive bass voice

  • what it the song in the interview ? please

  • @mos973

    song: Sho' You Right

album: The Right Night And Barry White (1987)

    It's on YouTube somewhere.

  • @mos973 The song featured in the Barry White interview is "Sho you right" from the 1987 album "The right night and Barry White". I have it on vinyl :-)

  • With a voice like that, you Gotta know what you're doing with it. And Barry White got that down pact 100%.

  • Barry White, was the epitome of what a lot of us young, 40-something, black dudes saw in our fathers and grand fathers....there was just a "coolness" about guys like him that was VERY ol' school...he didnt have to say much. He had an aggressive personality but it was masked by this classiness and coolness that is something of a lost art now.HIs body language speaks more than HE DOES, and you'll never see him sweat or get ruffled. Thats called "OL' SCHOOL COOL"..and the ladies love dudes like him

  • "the story that Barry White could tell you about how it was before it happened, could make your hair curl, Sweetheart!".....LMFAO.

I miss the coolest mother fucker to ever pick up a microphone..and his name was BARRY, "THE MAESTRO" WHITE.

  • he sounds like he has smoked gravel and sand for the past ten years.

  • this guy banged your mum, back in the 70s

  • @DA296 LOLOLOLOL....Amen, to that. And you know your 'mum' would never tell you, if he did.

  • @MisterCrazyLegs lol if he IS my real dad, it would explain why i sometimes have a really deep voice :P

  • Does anyone know the name of that song that was playing in the background?! I like it!

  • @PhoenixNubia "Sho' You, Right"..from the "Right Night With Barry White" album, I think. There is one more dance tune on there, "For Your Love", and all the other ones are ballads. I thought it was a VERY underrated album.

  • @MisterCrazyLegs Thanks so much for responding!

  • hahahahhaha WTF !!! professional back scratcher, i would like a ass scratcher xD

  • He was a gangster? Can you imagine that voice shouting abuse at you?! I would just instantly crap myself!

  • WHY IS HE SPEAKIN IN 3RD PERSON

  • @cricket12ish because "BARRY WHITE" is a corporation.....

  • @cricket12ish

that is depends on the questions he get i think.

  • @cricket12ish Cuz, he had been doin it for 36 yrs..lol. When I was a little guy, my folks took me to see him in concert in Wash, DC, my hometown...he was at the KENNEDY CENTER with a full orchestra...it was the most incredible thing I had ever seen up to that point. The whole concert he was talkin in the 3rd person, and that was 1976. And Im sure he was talkin that way before 1976.

  • his voice was so damn cool...RIP!

  • @UkPR0 mine too dude lmao

  • this man is so loved his music his life and just him being him i thank him for loving me like a daughter miss u dad

  • yikes at those nails..rip MR. WHITE

  • he's a fabulous man. you know, he said one true thing. his shit will last for ever cuz he had the whole knowledge, and new people are too close minded and have only a section.

He also said abut putting wisdom in the voice...

this man is incredible. people like sum all my thoughts... trully amazing

  • I'm sorry, but what was he even talking about? Barry White's voice does... um... things to me, so I guess it doesn't really matter what he says! Just keep talkin' bebeh!

  • Barry Whites voice is cool.

  • I just saw on the news that Michael Jackson was claimed to have spoken like Barry White and that his high-pitched voice was an act or a "show-biz persona"

  • barry white likes saying barry white

  • @spinking458 lol

  • R.I.P King Of LOVE AKA THE LOVE DOCTER etc etc

  • blashemous pothead yes i do love deep voices in men. so you can only imagine what a huge crush i have on him

  • Barry's sonorous, arousing voice is the cause of global warming.

  • WOMEN: Do you prefer deep voices in men?

  • Barry White wrote positive muisc. Telling about his early years, does not mean he enjoyed being a criminal. He turned his life around and lived a positive life and gave a positive message.

  • barry white was always talking about what barry white used to be like .. with so much pride i seemed to think ..he werent saying it with a message an teaching the kids ... every interview i seen him do he would love going into his seedy past .. even though they were more interested in talking about now an his music ect

  • Because, being Barry White, he can.

  • Listening to him and Larry Hooper having a conversation would be awesome had it ever happened.

  • He looks like Pernell Roberts

  • i never knew barry white spoke in the third person

  • Damn, i thought i had a deep voice. He makes me sound like a little ass kid lol

  • anyone else get brought here by the family guy african-american heart monitor? XD

  • yup

  • I would do anything for that voice

I have a deep voice already, but he makes me sound like a ten year old

  • I miss Barry White but his music will forever live in my heart!

RIP the one and only BARRY WHITE!

  • I'd kill for Barry White's voice

  • Earthquakes in the past were caused by Barry White's voice.

  • @dlmyers17 that is so funny, he was amazing!

  • @dlmyers17 Massive Lol - great great comment!

  • there's no doubt barry had a naturally deep voice but he still had to train it. it's the same with any talent or gift, you still need to train it to develop it and to be at its best. yes barry's voice is deep but he trained it everyday thru singing and other voice exercises to get that reeeeaaaal deeeep base and resonance. a deeper voice commands power and respect (not to mention sexiness to the girls). anybody can deepen their voice or just have a stronger voice thru training.

  • wrong. Listen to his voice when he sings. Its actually higher than when he talks normally. I highly doubt he trained his voice so he could talk deep in normal conversation (or to get ladies). If he did practice then it would be to hit the right notes/ chords etc. not to go deeper. Opera singers train their lungs and diaphragm so they can inhale and exhale deeper. Its helps them hold notes for longer and have greater control over their singing style. Not so much the deepness of the voice.
