  • @ Kekspere The true shredder! He invented tapping long before Eddie Van Halen!

  • CUDOWNE WYKONANIE....**********

  • paganini him self played first the melody, then cut highest string, then played it again, cut the secend highest string and so on until he played it whit just one string.. and he created tapping too..

  • @Kekspere you serious? oh WOW! he is ma idol!! :D

  • @Kekspere theres been sayings that one of paganini's strings broke during a concert and he was able to immediately transpose it and play it all on the next string.

  • @Imxtoeknee thats a saying thats longely been a fact :D

Steve vai did it too in a concert on guitar

  • @Kekspere i thought that was just a myth? about the cutting the strings thing

  • just beautiful

  • this piece is awesome! i can't stop listening to it!!!! :D

  • i would like to play this piece

  • I would too once I would hear you play this piece.

  • Oh, I thought i smelled something was your ill attitude.

  • The title "La Campanella" fits Liszt's arrangement for piano so much better, the high notes imitating so well the sound of little bells! That doesn't take anything away from the quality of Paganini's original version though

  • caprice 16 + la campanella make me feel unbelievable emotins...thats truly awesome,Niccolo Paganini was a great master...

  • Bravissimo Ilya, marvelous violin playing!!! I am proud of you:)))

  • my favorite piece along with caprice no. 24

  • who named it 'La campanella'?

  • Franz Liszt

  • you are sure?

I thought some other people named it la campanella after liszt rearranged it.

    good to know...

  • @jgsky No, it was nicknamed "La Campanella" because of the handbell that Paganini uses to reinforce the main theme. Although I'll agree, the Liszt arrangement definitely fits the title -- it's absolutely gorgeous! (And so is this ... I love it, I'd never thought to look up the inspiration for Liszt's "Paganini Etudes!"

  • franz schubert?

  • I believe paganini nicknamed this movement la campanella...

  • @pianomaster272

    he did.

Liszt's just transcribed six of Paganini's violin works for the piano and called them ''Transcendental Etudes after Paganini''

  • I feel that the piano version is more on the spot and more direct. Either way, they both sound amazing.

  • Matter of opinion, yes? :D

  • ubershredder1989: Bitch talk like a Human!!

  • jthameschoir: That made me laugh

  • Pearsewl: was that an insult? nevermind i dont care. If it was then i laughed too.
