I read someone's comment about having seen him perform this live. I do not think I could have survived that performance without passing out if he was singing it this way....It's as though he is singing to each and every one of us personally....Those eyes just make me melt and I would have definitely been drooling a bit too. ...LOL Thank you so much for this beautiful post.

Andy had so so much sadness in those beautiful eyes of his he smiled a million dollar smile but those pretty eyes told a different story. He had issues, but my oh my was he ever loved! and I'll always love him

I read another post where the woman says she sat for 4 hours watching these videos-she just couldnt take here eyes off of him! Me too! I adored him as a young girl and remember when he was on Broadway and wanted to go see him but didnt have the money. Back then we had to wait for opportunities to see him and now how wonderful it is to be able to see these great vids of him.

This was a gorgeous man inside and out. God rest his soul.

Hi Kevin,thanks for your comment and for pointing out the year this was probably taken. I have quite a big collection of video tapes containing many clips but since these are all recorded from TV shows etc. and are all mixed, the details are often missing. Still need to figure out a lot! I think it must have been recorded rather in 1985 (or maybe even later) than in 1983 as he had a shorter haircut in'85 (probably cut off his 'afro') when I look at pictures taken at that time.God Bless,Nikka.

But not 1987 n 1988.1987 got a very short haircut.tho its not as short as when he played Joseph..You're lucky to live in his time..I was born in 1993 so no chance of seeing Andy alive..
