Halo feels like a more of a movie, Battlefield feels the real war feel.

BUT nothing can beat halflife's atmospheric feel to the strategy, actioan and story.

but halo AND halflife are my top 2 sci-fi game franchise. Battlefield is more of my online gaming franchise. these games all have different feels to them, thats why i love them all.

@ThorirEy. as ravenssx won't answer your question, I will. Alyx is Eli's daughter (I hope you knew that) Eli was the one who sent Gordon into the test chamber, which caused the Resonance Cascade. He got his peg leg from a bullsquid attacking his real one. A picture and Alyx were all he got out of Black Mesa. Alyx probably knew Gordon by stories, and pictures other people were able to bring out. (EX doctor Kliner's lab in the city, on a pillar theres a picture with Gordon in it)

@ThorirEy If you've only played HL1, then i'll tell you. Alyx Vance, is the daughter of Dr. Eli Vance. A scientist, that worked with Gordon in Black Mesa. He is the Black guy, who sents you up to go get help, before you encounter the first headcrabs, or get the crowbar. He is a valid character for the HL series, and if you kill him with Impulse 101, the universe crashes, and the game will end, when everybody dies at Black Mesa, cause Gordon never got out of the room before the test chamber.

Alyx was only a child when Gordon Freeman was employed at Black Mesa, but Freeman's stasis between the events of Half-Life and Half-Life 2 has erased most of the age gap between the two characters.

Gordon is holding bugbait, an Antilion gaurd aethropod (did I spell that right?) that Antilion gaurds use to to order around antlion workers. A vortigaunt gets it from a dead antlion gaurd about half way through the game, which Is my favourite part of it btw.

I liked that until a few days ago when I tried to use the turrets in Nova Prospekt to kill the Antlion Guards. My antlions kept trying to kill the turrets >:(

But I finally developed a trick where I barricade one of the turrets in, trigger the antlion guard (So my antlions die), then jump back in the window and retrieve the turret.

It was pretty awesome.
