  • And what a rhythm section!

  • @porcaro75 Indeed! JR rules, he's absolutely fabulous. I am less a fan of Miller's though, but no question he's a great player. I would have preferred Abe or Stub as their style is more to my liking.

  • Yes I must admit Stubenhaus and Robinson together are unbeatable and would have been a better match. They have played on a LOT of records together.

  • Neil's a friend so I am not totally objective :-) But to me he's the greatest bass player ever. Matter of taste of course but for me he has it all. He's one of very few players who are geniuses. And of them all, he's my number 1. Neil, Abe, Sklar, Johnson, Will Lee... Neil Murray too in a completely different genre.... Like Pena too even though his solo album is slightly disappointing.

  • Have you seen the Barbra Streisand concerts with JR on drums and Neil on bass, most excellent and incredible playing.

  • David Garfield co-wrote this song.... too bad he did not get a mention....

  • Forgot to mention of course that the album is really good. It's the best thing George did since 1984 in my book. The record is a grower.

  • Thanks for the nod........ Smokey & I have been really enjoying our musical collaborations and his new CD is awesome too..

I'm so thrilled that George recording our tune.....DG
