Are those CAF 5000 Cars? I'm guessing because of the sound. The Alstom 6000 and the Breda 2/3000 (after refurbishment) make a more oscillating noise. The CAF sounds beautiful. The French sure are into modern design!
@kinkisharyocoasters Correct. On Metro, by the way, "CAF cars" = "5000-Series cars", and I tend to use the terms interchangeably.
Also, I don't know if I'd necessarily use "French" to describe the CAF cars. CAF itself is a Spanish company, and then the motors' manufacturer, Bombardier, is Canadian (Quebec, so French Canadian). Alstom, maker of the 6000-Series cars and rehabber of the 2/3k cars, is a French company, however.
