The new Derpy is so much better than the old one. I seriously can't understand how people don't see that the old one here was harmful and offensive towards the disabled. I'm disabled myself, and I have suffered from feeling inadequate from it for my entire life. Seeing a character that has been treated as disabled by the fandom long before the episode aired treated the way she was in this episode was heartbreaking. I'm glad that Hasbro focused on what's important instead of entitled fans.
