  • Your chest looks amazing. Your nipples are looking nice. a good result. congrats.

  • Hey, glad to hear things are going well for you atm. You are looking good man. I think the high red blood cells/clots can related to risk of heart problems? But best to look that up to confirm that. Maybe you need the dose decreased?

  • @AussieFTM The hight H&H is more of a normal range for a male, it's what makes cismen more likely to have heart problems. Easily fixed by donating blood.

  • @fateofmind05 Yeah I have heard that before. Well hopefully you can donate blood to get your levels right then.

  • Mine are a little over 1 and a half inch. Yeah, I made sure I didn't reach or anything, but they still got stretched. My doctor says that can happen in the first three months. And even when I get a second revision the risk remains. But this time he said he will use a nylon thread to hold it.

    Anyway, thanks for answering!

  • What is the size of your areola, if you don't mind me asking? Its just that I recently had a revision to make mine smaller, but they got stretched, so they are a little large, and I was wondering how smaller yours are than mine. Yours look great by the way!

    Thanks!

  • @MaxDBest I'd say they're a little over an inch across. My revision was really more about making my nipples smaller, not the areolas. Whenever you get an incision like that you really have to make sure you don't reach and stretch the skin. It's very elastic but it also scars easily.

  • high hematocrit levels seem to be common for transmen from recent postings i've seen on the ftm yahoo groups. guys just donate blood regularly to bring their hematocrit levels back down to normal levels. join the groups and you can read the archives for more details. as far as disclosing to coworkers, i've found that once i'm known and established as male the vast majority of people don't change the way they view me after knowing i'm trans. because really it's a small part of who we are.

  • critical care transport is tough work. good for you! i'm always blown away when i see the mobile nicu transports for cincinnati childrens hospital out on the road. i'd love to look inside one someday! we almost had to use one for our son to move him to childrens from the nicu of the hospital he was born in but he was able to stay at that nicu. it would have cost us $5000! ridiculous! i think the work you do is remarkable, and i imagine very rewarding and full of adrenaline rushes.
