  • Amazing video. Thank you to those who put this together. I've visited the hospital and community 3 times and you have done a brilliant job of putting it all together.

  • This is a beautiful video. The Saint Boniface Haiti Foundation has truly helped empower the people of the Fond des Blancs area. The hospital did not suffer badly from the earthquake and the community is now welcoming refugees from the capital. Donations will help provide food and medicine which are so direly needed. May many respond with love, prayers and generosity.

  • Its a primarily a Christian country...

  • i cannot say to much about this island because i never been there but next year i hope to go. my son father from haiti he told me that things over dere is not good .i really think the poeple over there need to turn to god chirst is the only one who can make things better and turn things around over dere.

  • i'm haitian but look at our sorry black ass we can even feed ourselves

  • This is a great video, moving, honest and well-balanced.

  • St. Boniface Haiti Foundation is a Catholic organization. Last I heard, Catholics are Christians. That would make them christian missionaries.

  • Catholics are Christians, and along with the good, Christian missionaries have perpetrated untold horrors through history.

I would not be so proud about the term "Christian missionary" - and say things like getting them to "surrender to Christ," and understand that if you want to introduce Christ to someone, then do it by acts of LOVE and be careful to not sound like a narrow-minded bigot.

  • I read further down to another comment. I believe you may have meant to respond to another poster.

  • ...unless of course you think my making a logical correlation between Catholic and christian missionary makes me a narrow-minded bigot :)

  • You are right, and so please accept my apology. I meant to respond to nolimitkay. Your logical connection is just that, and I didn't take offense at it. Thanks.

  • Great video!

  • Haiti has a dense population for a Caribbean Island. A serious government that really wants change in Haiti needs to introduce tubal ligation on women after two children and vasectamy for men also after two children. Such drastic case should be taken place on both men and women particularly unmarried ones. The government should make such measure a law and advertise it amongst married couples so the poverty in Haiti can minimize rapidly and allow other social progresses to take place.

  • I really applaud these people for devoting their times and energy to help the poor of Haiti instead of these Christian Missionaries whom objectives are to distablelize the country with their fake gospels and their CIA spiying. The best way to fight poverty in Haiti is to control the population growth. Poor people tend to have lots of children since they can't afford birth control both men and women. Poor women are not in control of their bodies in such environments.

  • Ive been to Haiti as a missionary.the people are starving.we fed the community and shared the gospel and they surrendered to Christ. The community went from a isolated survival of the fittest to a relationship of people working together and farming to grow their own crops and worship God for everything they have. So gilgabe don't say that we are destabilizing the country. it is destabilized...our mission is to bring the people together and show them Christ.Because He is the only way to the Father

  • You need to be educated about Haiti. The Spanish and the French already christianized the Haitians, you are too late. Every Haitian knows Christ, we are not Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists or whatever not even in minorities. Voodoo is our African religion and as you've witnessed is well incorporated into our Christian faith. The world knows what you mean by Christian Missionaries, don't think you can fool me. I can only pity my Haitian brothers in Haiti for putting up with your false gospel.
