@doberfrann I wasn't denying the fact that espresso is coffee, my rant was about the misspelling of the word (expresso is incorrect) and if you do a little research you'll find that the French indeed invented an espresso machine but the Italians made it better :)

The first espresso-like machine was made by the French but later was perfected and patented by the Italians who gave it the name Espresso (means "fast").

@andysgrl33 In Italy coffee and espresso means the same thing. However, is correct to say that the espresso is the one you get from the espresso maker. All the espresso machine were born in Italy - first in 1884. Even the french press was invented in Italy - 1929.

You should wipe off the top of the bottom part before screwing the top on.

Also, there is no such thing as EXpresso. It's espresso (i.e. to press.) It doesn't mean that it's quick. On the other hand, you are attractive and very feminine, with the cute little cow patterned moka pot and whatnot, so my penis says that the "expresso" thing is forgivable.

I seriously doubt that no matter how hard you pressed your coffee in the filter that it would ever explode!

Also it is advantageous to press the coffee so the water filters evenly through all of the filter and not just one section, this produces a richer taste

Yeah, but in France they have a French word for it! We in the English speaking world use the Italian word, so it should be espresso, no expresso.

Thanks for sharing. I bought a stainless steel one and did not know how to use it. (I don't recommend the metal one with a painted finish that you have. Might not be be healthy but I'm not sure)
