Fun game. Reminds me of a combination of the Dark Sun PC games and an old D&D Genesis game called Warriors of the Eternal Sun.

Good stuff man, though there's GOT to be a way of capturing to get rid of that crazy lag...even the music and sfx just sound so different! Different program perhaps?

Actually, I speeded up the entire clip by 25% during the editing process (which might have something to do with the slightly weird music and sound effects). I don't think it's possible for me to get a better frame rate since the computer I'm using is both old and cheap. Hopefully more users will upload videos of this game, though (didn't I see a discussion about that on the KotC forum?).

looks kinda hard, with allied guards at 5 HP and orcs at 10 HP.

Yes, this game isn't easy (which is one of the things I like about it).

All my heroes just got wiped out by a single snake, and even a low-level party can be attacked by vampires (!) when travelling through the wilderness...

No, certainly not in the random travel encounters (and probably not anywhere else in the game).

well that sounds good, just bought the game some 4 min ago, have yet to install it.

this is my second game i bought for over a year now, the other one was Echalon book 1. tells you alot about todays RPG market...
