@2girls1yeag It is a Serato shortcut cover. They are like $29. Do a search you will find it. That is if you have a MAC. They make stickers for PCs. I don't use it as much now cause I know most of the shortcuts now.

@soocer1583 Select a song or songs to get rid of. Hold control and shift and then hit delete. That will send them right to your trash. Took me a while myself to find that out.

@thepauldj Sometimes when that doesn't work (I had this issue last night) you may have your library protection turned on, or worse yet you may have a corrupt db file in your serato folder that needs to be renamed while the program is closed so the program can rebuild it. Also sometimes the read itunes library file can cause... ALL Kinds of fun problems. Spent two hours screwing around with it because of that.

@shipsaeki For one this was made some time ago before I knew of such things. Two I can not find it anymore but better ones come up in the search now. Three my point is if you want to know something just search it. Doesn't matter if it is the same one as long as you learned what you wanted to.

Got you bro, though there is something I realized, on stuttering the beats on a song (alt-command + hot keys) some beats are not active, why is this? What I mean to ask is, you can only get a half beat & quarter beat stutter while the others become innactive, why is this? 2. On the above discussion, if I disable the caps lock, would I still have my sampler active? no!... wchu think?

just press your CAPS LOCK to lessen ur work, you will not need to press SHIFT on playing your que points... (unless there is a reason why you are using the SHIFT button) that I may not be aware of. Good stuff

@kaydeelethal You can also check the box to not have to use shift or caps lock. I don't use shift. But for the video that how I showed it. I think most people do caps lock. But you can just check the box nd not have to. It is in the setup menu.

@allanxpoe83 Why not? It can be done. I am sure someone does it. If that what you want to do then I say do it. Thats what makes DJs different. I love watching the way other DJs work. Always have.

when i dont have my hardware connected i can not listen to the efx nor samples or 2 songs so i can prepare for my set

and when i do have the hardware on i can nothear the music unless i have external speakers i can not hear tthem thru my headphones connected to my laptop. please help.

@soulfulcommandoe8 You have to have the box hooked up to use the efx and sp-6. You can use the phone jack on the box to hear.

when i open my serato and the rane hardware isnt plugged i cant open the cue points, effects, nothing, nor can i do the hot keys please help

its just liek a normal track player, like a traail version or sumthin but its not i bought ssl 3. please help

@soulfulcommandoe8 You might have it on the wrong mode. In ABS mode you can not use shortcuts. You have to be in REL to do them. ABS is just like you are using decks. REL you can do both and INT is just the program and no decks. Hope that helps.

Ctrl + Alt 1-5 (L) 6-0 (R) depending on where you got your loop settings is nice for fills. Track still progresses while loop is held out.

u dnt really have to hold shift as long as ur caps lock is on u can just pres 1-9 for your cue points

Ok..i know what might be the problem with the ALT +T / ALT +G thing..

you Prob have scratchlive set up using (Playback Keys Using Shift) in your Setup>Playback Screen.

in That Case Its

SHIFT + ALT + T (left Deck)

SHIFT + ALT + G (right Deck)

if you want to set / trigger cue points or use the Tracifier with out usinig SHIFT Key you can go to your setup menu > Playback window> un-checkmark (Playback Keys Using Shift)

ive been using scratchlive & been a og active scratchlive fourm member since the begining and the pong (easter egg) came out a long time ago..you pretty much have to be on top of scratchlive (no homo) & a reg active member/user to find out about these things.

i suggest you become a active SL Fourm member or at least do alot of trolling on scratchlive (dot) net
