Totally amazing vid. You captured every dramatic moment of Season 6, editing God knows how many clips in the process, tweaking here and there until it all fit perfectly together with the song.. I was very impressed. It was the most action packed 3 and a half minutes of 24 Ive ever seen. Well done.

The reason 6 is the best is because it has a lot of "OH SHIT" moments. Moments that you wouldn't even expect as a 24 fan. Season 7 was good because it was a nice new direction for the series. As for the rest... season 1 had a good plotline but a lot of boring shows, season 4 had too many forgetful characters, season 2 was okay in the 1st half, then it sucked and became The West Wing, season 5 was totally forgetful (don't remember any of it) and season 3... ugh that bored me to tears.

Yeah, notice how all of those things either happened in the first or last episodes. Doesn't really say much about the season as a whole, IMO. Honestly, the only thing I really remember about the rest of the season is Edgar dying due to the nerve gas, and that's only because I liked his character in the Sopranos. If it wasn't for that scene, I wouldn't be able to remember what the actual season was about.

So yes, I stand by my original comment. Season 5 - forgetful.

When Palmer died, gave the plotline to the whole season 5...

Jack is looking for the mastermind, behind Palmer and Michelle assasination trough out the whole season...

Now we know that Tony is not dead, but back then we all thought he died

Do you remember that??? That wasnt on the first or last episodes...

Everybody finds out that jack wasnt dead as well???

And the last episode gave the whole plotline for season 6...

I just felt it was pretty generic and it felt like I'd already saw most of it. I mean, Palmer assasinated - throwback to season 1; people that should be dead but are still alive - every horror movie ever; terrorists break into CTU - Jesus it happens every day in Los Angeles apparently, and a biological attack on innocent people - throwback to season 3, although it was better on season 5.

I guess if I were to watch it again, I'd enjoy it, but it just doesn't really spring to mind as one of the more exciting seasons, and it doesn't leave a lasting impression the same way seasons 1, 4, 6 and 7 do. At least it's no season 3, lol.

I liken it to my love for Metallica. St-Anger was not their best effort, but it was needed to get them to where they are now. To Death magnetic, which is their best work in 20 years. Season 7 is looking good so far.

What are you talking about? The back half of the season is what killed it. Rather than keeping and expanding upon the threat from the wonderfully villainous Grudenko/Fayed duo, they opted to kill them prematurely and replace them with a rushed international crisis storyline. They needed to keep Jack's family as villains but should have kept them in reserve until the next season rather than playing that whole story out, sacrificing the original story of the season. It killed Day Six.
